The logical loops you jumped through to come up with that sentence...

Yeah good luck with the world where the USA is your version of an Anti-American/Christian utopia.

logical loops? That's not a thing.
This is literally what you said:

religion belongs nowhere in public high school athletics
Sorry. You don't get to decide what others do no matter how self-conscious you are about your lack of faith.

You have some of the dumbest takes on this board.

Think about the hypocrisy here.
Praying on a football field is somehow coercion of the students .....but shoving sex and LBTSFGNSHIT down a Kindergarteners throat is not?

I don't believe he was fired, just suspended.

What is the difference between a coach praying with his team and a coach asking his team to kneel for a social cause? Both are religions.

If the coach was forcing them to have a call to prayer at the end of each game, you'd be outraged.
Before and after every game I’ve played in high school , college and brief time in the pros we always prayed before and after each game . This is America “One Nation Under God “ you don’t pray to a god, take a seat or stand in silence . That simple .

I think you're severely confused on what a religion is, but i don't see a difference at all. Coaches should be suspended for promoting social causes as well.
The problem with both is the issue of choice, anyone that played high school football knows damn well you are doing what the coaches and upper classmen say. Period. There is no choice.

Maybe you are?
Religion
A particular variety of such belief, especially when organized into a system of doctrine and practice.

re·li·gion
/r?'lij?n/
noun
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
"ideas about the relationship between science and religion"
Oxford.
We gonna have a dictionary-off ? Maybe we can see who's dad can beat the other up?

No need. I was simply pointing out to you that a belief system doesn’t have to be based in the worship of a deity to be a religion.

I would think most people on this board would much rather my definition be proper, since it invalidates things like the Satanic Temple from claiming they are a religion.

GREAT chance for our 5-4 majority to chip away at Engel, one of the worst decisions of all-time. SCOTUS better not blow this.

I’m pretty sure the majority of people would call the worship of Satan a religion.

The Satanic Temple doesn't believe in satan.

DO YOU WORSHIP SATAN?
No, nor do we believe in the existence of Satan or the supernatural. The Satanic Temple believes that religion can, and should, be divorced from superstition.
My definition sounding better now?
