Did you read the article or any of the responses in this tread? The guy said:
quote:
debilitating bout with intestinal cramps caused by the upset stomach-inducing behaviors I’d been engaged in.”

Sounds like he made a conscious choice to stop his homosexual behavior because he felt it was creating a life-threatening condition.

Oh wow, one month of being married and he's saying he's conquered it? Lets come back to this guy in 10 years, and I'd say the chances are that he's relapsed at least once or twice.

There was a guy in my church parish who was gay. He had been since he was a teenager. But then he said he found God and a wife. While he admits he's still attracted to men, there is a big difference between having an urge and acting on that urge. He's been happily married for 30 years and hasn't had a relapse in that time period.

Perhaps, LIKE I SAID, he quit doing something he didn't enjoy, because he tried vagina and realized that it's awesome.

Vagina> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Penis

Sorry you mad

The real agony would be religious conservatives being tempted to abort their gay fetus. Can you imagine, bringing a child into the world knowing that, odds are, they will spend eternity tortured by hell fire after spending their lives as an utter affront to god, slapping him in the face with every penis they put in their mouths?

Actually it is, since you made the claim he doesn't exist. You didn't say you don't believe he exists.

I commend this guy trying to live the lifestyle that he thinks is right but he's kidding himself if he thinks he can just become straight as an arrow.

He's going to prolapse sooner or later.

All of the evidence that we have points to sexual orientation being a genetic trait, just like intelligence. The fact that we can't point to a specific gene for either of them doesn't change the fact that a genetic cause is the most likely scenario.

Would it bother you to find out that your loving god created someone who has to deny themselves sexual fulfillment or face eternal damnation?

Actually, there is no evidence what so ever. I have not involved God in this either, so no need in addressing that.

Scientists last year came to the conclusion that homosexuality wasn't a genetic trait. However...they believe it to be biological in nature.

A scientific study came to that conclusion...not all scientists...just to be clear....and that conclusion wasn't a final say...they provided only that their evidence suggested an epigenetic link...sounds plausible and still obviates choice in the matter.

Actually, there is no evidence what so ever.
Actually neither statement is true.
There is evidence of genetic influence.
However, that influence is not 100% outcome determinative.

In isolated monozygotic twin studies strict homosexual concordance runs 300% - 1700% of population averages. Further, incomplete manifestation or expressed bisexuality, is not fully explored in many of these instances. Most studies of male homosexuality seem suggestive of either genetic contribution, (though not of genetic control), or epigenetic factors.

In Al Gore lingo, the science is not settled.

Maybe maybe not. No need to wish relapse onto someone so that our own suspicions can be confirmed. I struggle with a weed and tittie addiction myself, yes its been tough going cold turkey, but i'd like to think I can head in the right direction without people hoping I fail.
