1) Its just the latest area of study, that they at grasping at straws to prove
2) because there will always be the twins study. Where in all the cases of identical twins where one is gay, only 6.4% of the time is the other also gay.
Translation: whatever happened in the womb would have had to effect both twins equally. Not just 6.4%. And if epigenetics markers are found for both, then you've got 93% making a choice to be straight

Hmmmm...I'll admit what you consider harmful, I might not consider harmful and vise versa.
You might not consider homosexuality harmful, but I do. Homosexuality goes against the natural instinct to propagate the species. That's the plain and simple internal aversion to homosexuality. Its an evolutionary aversion for the propagation of the species.

Being a gay man is extremely difficult in in 2014, though it gets easier every year as homosexuals become more accepted. If someone takes a position that they know will cause ridicule to be heaped on them, I tend to believe them. If they later recant and join the majority, I look at it with a bit more skepticism.
It's not a difficult concept, and it certainly isn't unique to homosexuality.
