Until you remember crooks didn’t take the shot on Trump. lol. They didn’t leave that shot to that dude. Someone w a high powered rifle and scope took that shot.

You are welcome. I hope that cleared up a few things. An Eotech dot will not completely cover an 8” target, i.e. a human head, at 130 yards.
An Eotech would have been perfectly capable of making the shot had the skill and nerves of the shooter been up to it.

The doubts and question is if crooks was the guy that made the 1st 3 shot in rhythm volley. Audio analysis says absolutely not.
Your post received a lot of downvotes because this site is infested with imbeciles. It’s shameful. I’ve reviewed the audio analyses by others and it is absolutely guaranteed that there were at least two shooters if not three.

100%. Appreciate the comment.

But you think the evidence points to him as taking SOME shots? If so, which ones?
Took some to the dome

Shots 1,2,4,5 of the 2nd volley
Precisely.
They were a bunch of poor shots. Spraying and praying I guess.
First volley of three shots were fired from inside the building where the local police were directly below Crooks.
The second volley of 6 shots had 2 or maybe 3 different weapons at distinct locations from each other and from the first volley of 3. Most likely Crooks (or someone) fired 1, 2, 4, and 5 of that second volley… with shots 3 and 6 of that second volley possibly being a distinct shooter or two distinct shooters.
The last shot fired about 10 seconds after the second volley was the SS counter sniper shooting Crooks.
It’s important to realize all the 3 shots of the first volley and all 6 shots of the second volley were aimed at President trump or at least in his direction due to the microphones picking up the sonic boom of the bullets prior to the report of the gunpowder.
How they shot at him 9 times and missed all but one it’s hard to fathom. The first shooter must’ve had buck fever and just missed. That guy will get killed by a mugger in an alley very soon if he didn’t already. They didn’t let Crooks shoot first though because they didn’t want to take a chance he’d miss. Joke is on them.. their professional missed and then the two backups and Crooks each got to sling some lead.
I hope orange man fires them all in January!

You are completely arse backward on my post so let’s try again.
I was clear that in good light, dark backdrop, stable rifle, above average shooter, clear target, great vision, it’s very doable with no magnification.
But he’s a novice with coke bottle glasses with the sun in his face, full sunlight, on a white roof, red dotting a moving dude in a red hat at 500 ft among thousands of others in red. He’d have to have his brightness up way too high to get a sight picture of the head around his dot, imo. Not an easy shot, especially knowing he’s made, likely about to die and about to kill a president. All I said.
Is that ok with you, Wyatt Earp? Because I know everyone on here makes that shot blindfolded, so I have to be super specific.
And, as if this needs to be said again, the counter sniper confirmed he had a scope, so it doesn’t matter any way.

It may also have something to do with the fact that he is claiming Big Foot was on the water tower and there was a UFO in one of the videos.
At this point he has to just be trolling people, trying to come up with even more and more ridiculous ideas just to see who else will rally to him.

The media, Fox, is reporting that he had a scope. The same media, Fox, also reported Crooks rifle was an AR Five Fifty Six.
The media almost never gets the details correct when it comes to firearms. I saw a picture of him on the roof holding the gun and there was not a scope on the rifle. There was a red dot or holographic sight. Multiple people in the beginning of this thread posted the same thing.
If the FBI put the sight on the news desk, the media wouldn’t know what it was. Based on a couple of your posts I am on the fence as to whether you would.
What model eotech do you have again?
I am sorry you look silly now but it was you who posted obviously false and easily refuted statements.

I don’t trust the IC but I’m not ready for all that shite either.
Posted on 7/20/24 at 10:54 pm to captdalton
I bought it with the rifle about 10 years ago. It has the older L3 markings and is just referenced as a HWS in the literature. Maybe mine is shite?

GTF out of here google boy. lol
Posted on 7/20/24 at 11:08 pm to Squirrelmeister
There were three. It’s confirmed. Crooks is one of them. The other two are SS/LE.

Wait, so your jab is that you were wrong about things that can easily be found on Google?
Then why didn’t you use Google before you posted things that make you look like you have no idea what you are talking about?
That is quite the conundrum:

What do I need google for? I’ve personally put thousands of rounds through these rifles in a number of different settings and conditions for a very long time. I’ve shot with kids that age and shot with guys who could split atoms at 150yds with iron sights.
I don’t need to google shite. That makes one of us.

Then why did you post this?
That is just wrong.

Elite shooters can group a fist size at 100yds in perfect conditions fully stabilized
That is just wrong.
Posted on 7/20/24 at 11:48 pm to captdalton
It’s not wrong. A fist size group at a range with zero magnification at 100 yards is extremely good. Only a retarded person who’s never shot would say otherwise.
a larger red dot at that range when intensity is appropriately set in extremely high light and glare conditions would likely cover the blur of cheek he might have seen at 500 ft.
And all the other extreme dynamics I’ve mentioned that you’ve ignored.
Again. Practical experience.

You are saying you can go win a service rifle competition or Palma match by shooting a 4 MOA group.
That is easily verifiable.
We can post some results. It will be the same as your “the dot would cover his whole head like a garbage can lid” and “Trumps head would look like a grain of sand at that distance”.
Or this one.
quote:
They are not recommended for those distances
Yet, Eotech makes models with multi dot reticles designed for shots beyond 100 yards. Their 4 dot reticle is designed for 100, 200, 300 and 400 yards shots. I bet you Eotech would recommend them. There are a lot of people that would. A lot of really good and experienced shooters will tell you the best all around optic set up for an AR is an Eotech with a magnifier. It will do everything a person needs from point blank to 400 or 500 hundred meters. And we don’t know if Crooks had a magnifier. Some people think they see one in the picture of him with the rifle. Looking at it, I can see something black behind his optic. I can’t tell if it is an optic or just a dark shadow in the background. But in the Herrera video, he mentions how the optic is so far forward. Perhaps because he had a magnifier mounted behind it?
I don’t disagree with you that most people are not good shooters. I am not a particularly good shooter anymore due to old eyes and lack of practice. For a lot of people a 5-6” group at 100 yards is good. We have all seen them. They roll up to the range and stick an 8” target up at 100 yards. If they hit it, they call it good enough. And depending on their style of hunting and average shot distance, it very well may be.
But you keep saying it isn’t even possible to shoot better than that. That people aren’t capable. That the equipment isn’t capable.
You are saying it isn’t possible to consistently hit the vitals of a deer past 200 yards with iron sights, red dots or holographic sights. Yet people were making those shots prior to magnified optics for hundreds of years. And with much shittier equipment than we have now.
A lot of what you have posted is just not true. And it is very easy to prove. Avid shooters already know this.
We don’t know what kind of shot Crooks was. But he was a member of a range. So it wouldn’t be a stretch to think he had some practice. Heck, according to the official narrative, Crooks told his parents he was going to the range that day.
I think a lot of these “it was an impossible shot” statements are being made because, for some reason, people want there to have been a second sniper very badly. The problem is that if you go with that theory, Trump would be dead. A trained sniper does not miss a 130-150 yard shot at a 6” target. Like Tim Kennedy said, there are a lot of 12 year olds in Texas that would make that shot 10 out of 10 times. I would expand that and say there are a lot of kids all across the south that would. Go to Montana or Wyoming and those kids probably make the shot at 250 yards. Yet a highly trained sniper missed? And not just one shot, but all their shots? Come on now.
It wouldn’t surprise me if someone groomed this kid. It wouldn’t even surprise me if someone planned it and provided cover so he could get the shots off. That could be a reason so much of his security team were subs that day and why Jill Biden and Kamala Harris just happened to also have events requiring secret service personnel that day. We haven’t heard a peep about who the commander was that day who would have been making final calls. He/she should have made the call to confront the suspicious person as soon as they saw him using a range finder. And they should not have let Trump walk out on stage knowing there was a suspicious person. It is even more mind blowing that he was seen with a rifle on the roof by law enforcement and they still let him walk out there. But the idea that the real shooter was some highly trained government spook is a bridge too far for me considering they missed and the assassination attempt failed. If this was a government conspiracy, they may have had every expectation that Crooks would make that shot. If Trump hadn’t turned his head he would have.
