You have to pay for entertainment.

I guess you also have to pay for news that tells you only what you want to hear.

I used to be a hardcore news junkie back when cnn was properly cnn & did actual news.

I don’t watch network news. I simply broke that habit.

If you're going to pay for a monthly fee, pay for OAN via Roku.

Been shouting this from the rooftops here since 2020 and just going hoarse.

I cancelled cable/satellite altogether and just stream. 100$+ savings every month, and only pay $4.99/mo for OAN. Came out on top. If you think you can't live without cable, you should reevaluate your priorities.

This is maybe a little off-topic, but

Do you want them to produce better content? New creative projects?

People bitch at the DailyWire for putting stuff behind a paywall, but subscriber revenue allows them to make new projects like Bentkey, Convicting a Murder, What is a Woman, Etc.

Quite honestly, NO, I don't want a news channel making "creative projects" and such.

Conservatives always miss the mark here. It takes money to compete in the entertainment market.
I don't flip on the news for entertainment, nor do I want to.

Seems like a lost concept now, but I just want coverage of big or newsworthy events, without opinions or stuff inserted.

Didn't take long to find an alternative. Installed the Rumble app on my Nvidia Shield. Real America's Voice popped right up with a live stream. Done.

Later Newsmax!

I usually listen to War Room via podcast. This is even better.

I like RAV and OANN and some other free ones better.

You can get Real America's Voice (and Newsmax) through Pluto.TV ( https://pluto.tv/en/live-tv/americas-voice) or directly through their phone apps.

Fox News had to pay $878M, once their internal comms were exposed, showing that they knew the stolen election narrative had been proven to be a lie, but they continued with it because they were afraid if they contradicted Trump viewers would leave Fox in droves for AON and Newsmax.

AON and Newsmax continued with the stolen election narrative even after that had been proven to be a lie, so you best believe they are facing similar lawsuits to Fox News, but they are in much worse financial circumstances than Fox. They gotta figure out a way to pay when those bills come due.

When did this happen? Whoever supposedly "proved" this surely didn't change my mind. Especially with the droves of evidence coming out daily that wasn't even available at the time you are claiming it was proven to be false.

It is something I did with all news sources the day after Trump was defrauded in a stolen election. The information that is not reported will astound you. Because the MSM (Lying media) will not report it, this country and so many others, are being raped and pillaged by dishonest politicians, the MIC, and several international corporations.

Why rely on main stream media sources at all?

I might suggest no one, even a very well informed citizen, needs to consume that much "news" anyway. Especially news centered on American politics which is really just warmed over opinion content.
