So New York went full authoritarian and ended up with essentially the same per capita rate as Florida.

Looks like a big loss for NY to me.

Florida had about 1.5 million more residents than New York state.

Trump must see something in his internal polls that must really concern him overall, or else, he would not be going this hard after DeSantis.

He does. He knows he’s in trouble and Covid is a losing issue for him. He’s trying to create the narrative, his mindless cult will eat it up.

Trump def becoming more and more of a bitch… instead of being the candidate of choice, he’s gonna be the default just because he’s not Biden.

Seriously? frickin hell. Cuomo forced covid19 patients into nursing homes. 10s of thousands of elderly were killed because of that. The Cuomo administration even fricked with the elderly death totals to downplay how much death Cuomo caused.

Trump picks new York as the comparison, to attack Florida and Desantis. That's fricked up.

Like I said a while ago.. in a blind rage. Trump is propping up the vile of the vile, just to shite on Desantis.

If Trump really thinks New York did a better job with COVID than Florida, then is he endorsing all of the COVID policies that New York had (many of which were obviously bashed by Trump supporters)?

You did. That's why you've wisely moved on from defending it to simply running your mouth.
No, I didn't. You're just stupid, and don't mistake the upvotes as validation - they, like you, choose poorly in primaries. Go have a trusted adult friend with more education than you (I guess in your case, your best shot is hiring a hooker or a Denny's waiter) to explain it to you.

That's a different argument. It's also been my opinion that no matter what you do, the virus is going to run its course. The advantage is to put it off as long as possible and aim for the decayed severity that is typical among most viruses, and/or that the treatment protocols are more advanced by the time it hits you.

I'll pull lever for him, but he won't win. The biggest coalition he ever had was when he was 1st elected. He has done nothing to broaden his appeal. I understand, he's a business man.

Unfortunately in politics, it's not just the best man the best plan that always wins

This is literally the shite we made fun of for 2+ years.

Trump has to have some internals that just show him getting crushed.

Agree 100%, thought he would mature politically after 2020 and let his handlers help craft the message to try to reel in suburban women who are truly in the mix for 2024 due to inflation and schools.

However, his childish and pompous attitude is on display and will turn them off once again... Feelings not facts drive that groups vote.
