I am flummoxed by other Trump supporters who lauded Desantis over and over during the covid crisis, and now siding with these attacks on Desantis over Covid. Trump is wrong on this attack, and knows Desantis handled Covid far better than he did.

I appreciate this. I wish everyone could have this level of intellectual honesty. Its refreshing and I applaud you.

A Covid case count is meaningless when the PCR Tests are not only bogus to begin with, and they were run at different cycle levels to achieve bogus results & false positives, then add in the financial incentives to hospitals for positive tests, hospitalizations, & ventilators...the whole thing was a total sham/scam.

I never complained about original thoughts, you did. Don't get surprised when you are shown your posts are unoriginal. They may make a point, but they are not very original and you have made clear that is a very important component for you.

Rocky is a solid poster, from what I remember of our interactions in the past.

You

Simply by stating I'm wrong is proving now?
I didn't simply state you were wrong, I specifically told you why you were wrong in no uncertain terms and in 100% factual terms.

Still waiting for you to show your work and let me know where you got to your stance...but you won't because your stance is anyone who doesn't fall in line 100% with your takes must have voted for Biden. That is why you will continue to reply to me and not show your work. You have every opportunity to do so and make me look foolish when you prove me wrong, but you won't do that...why? Because you can't.

if you can't back up your words, the best thing you can do is concede that. Next best thing is to just let it go adn stop replying to me. You're choosing the worst option which is to continue replying to me with every chance to prove me wrong but instead just resorting to the unoriginal takes and deflecting from your initial assertion.

In fairness, as we're seeing with the dudes who are posting and how silly they're looking here, it's probably better to be remain quiet.

That hasn't stopped them before. Look at jbdawg in the other thread.

JJDisingenuous will usually come along and either support it from the left, or say "well is he wrong on the numbers"

Look at Trump’s debate vs Hillary in comparison to his first debate against Biden. He drastically lost his sharp edge.

I’d say he was battle tested in 2016 whereas 2020 he thought he could waltz on stage and blow out Biden.

It was my one of my points about him skipping the debate. He needs to practice. He hasn’t been challenged directly in multiple years. He’s just been talking unopposed at rallies since January 2020

There are plenty of posters here defending him going after the best governor

I can't argue this, I should have stated I haven't forgotten, and I am not one who appreciates the attacks on Desantis. I remember many of posts during covid how many wish he were their governor, and what a stud he is, etc. It pisses me off more than you know that Trump and many of his supporters are doing the work of the left with attacks like this one.

I respect Desantis and think he would make a fine President even with some of his faults and I made the statement that no politician is a perfect candidate.

What are your other top two you think would make for better candidates?

Just be honest. You do your cause better when you at least attempt to be on occasion.

Its easy. "Trump is being an idiot here, I don't like it. Still support him because I think he is the best person for the job to do ___ and ___"

An anonymous poster stating I was factually wrong in a post is proof?

I could go take the time to provide post after post, but I don't need to prove anything. I will state what I believe based on your many posts I have come upon in threads like these. I don't need to back anything up. I can simply do as you are and just say you are a left leaning poster and state it's fact and claim that is proof. It works for you, why not me?

Trump is only 3 years behind Democrats in his attacks.

In 2026 he will be running on the need for Gender Affirming care for Trans folks. Silence is Violence.

I'll take either Rand Paul or Thomas Massie. I don't think they're necessarily more electable, but I'd prefer both over DeSantis.
