Don’t believe everything you hear. I steer clear of most social media, especially TikTok, precisely because I don’t have the brain space for bullshite like this.

This board seems to have an actual wish for the worst possible things to happen. Like, a fetish for Russia or China to be better than us.
Its not complicated, they hate America.

You act as if there is no way to disprove your blatant inaccuracy of this comment.

Great

I don’t need to comb over it darling. I know you’re dishonest about it. It’s what most of you democrats do.

Where he said the USA would fare well? Did you miss that part?
Posted on 1/15/23 at 7:21 pm to RogerTheShrubber
A global famine is disastrous even if we “fare well.” It’s not something to look forward to.

Except the part where he said we would fare well.
You're railing against something that doesn't exist, ironically.

When I saw mention of the coming global famine, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes, even if Nostradamus said we’d fare well. It’s not worth splitting hairs and bickering with you, a poster I enjoy engaging with, about it. It reads like doom and gloom fear mongering to me, but I understand how you can see the silver lining with the “America will fare well” comment.

Well the climate change people preach this daily. Do you not believe them?
The Ukraine bros preach this too, are they lying?

Not particularly. The fear mongering is meant to get us to tune in and watch their advertisements. No one knows what the future will hold. An asteroid could take the planet out in 5 minutes.

While I somewhat agree, are you saying we shouldn't anticipate or even act on anything simply because it's not 100% known?
There are plenty of indicators that we're in for a recession. That's not coming from media.

No, that’s not what I’m saying. I do my best to limit my family’s consumption. Were definitely destroying the planet and we must take action to at least slow the destruction if not reverse it. Until corporations are willing to participate in saving our planet, we’re just pissing in the wind, though.

Wrong.
The left will just redefine what it means to be in a recession, and boom...it never happened.
The goal posts WILL be moved...just like (transitory) inflation, what constitutes a crime, etc. etc.

You were making a point about lynching black people for spurious reasons back in the day
I was countering with a point about black people and car jackings in present times

How often do you think this happened? Blacks kill more blacks in a year than were ever lynched.

Has anyone actually experienced this? I know we’ve seen headlines but has anyone on the board had someone remove their kids to perform gender reassignment?
New Orleans high school student went to Europe to have reassignment surgery done. An entire documentary was made.
Again...dense and no situational awareness. None of this exists...nothing to see here.
