It would be quite the predicament for Desantis and company since they seem all onboard for a holy war and are chomping at the bit to make being gay a criminal offense in the US.
Part of the reason why I keep coming back to this board is to see the wild imagination of the Trump supporters. It’s absolutely entertaining

Trump won’t show in debate 1 or 2 and then will lose Iowa
Think that could easily happen. But then he pretty much runs the table after that.

Including Nevada and Arizona? He could easily lose 2 out of first 3.

To keep the football analogy
To keep the football analogy, in Trump’s last game, final season Peyton Manning trucked his arse and drug him 80 yards into the end zone. After the game, Trump claimed Manning was abusing steroids and the game should be forfeited.

I highly doubt it in that scenario but we will see. After Iowa Scott, pence and Haley drop out and that vote consolidates to Ron.
Combine that with an angry Trump at the first post Iowa debate and likely claiming fraud ala Cruz Iowa win and he’s going to turn a lot more people off

Trump has the strongest and most loyal base probably ever.
I wasn’t joking that Trump could make a social media post and refer to everyone as vying to be VP and he will get 10x the coverage and views than the debate itself. I may be understating it.

Remember, not all publicity is good publicity. I do agree though…..he posts ignorant shite all the time and everyone definitely points it out.

Only Trumpers are about 20-30% of republicans. They are the ones that answer voting for another Republican is “disloyal”

Maybe on Twitter.
But he’s banished to the basement of Truth Social by his handlers.
The people who would read that on Truth social are the same people as above.

Equating Biden to Peyton Manning is very telling. You accidentally exposed yourself.
But, to take the analogy further, in the next game the score is 56-3 at half and the team that has scored 3 is demanding they be taken seriously and trying to explain to everyone that it’s not their talent or gameplan that is the problem and that if Trump just plays the rest of the game as if it were tied they would win. Meanwhile, Trump is doing in game interviews and hitting on Suzy Kolber.

What’s the football analogy for Trump losing his last election and getting embarrassed during the midterms?

Trump only shows up for championship debates.
Is that why he was on the debate stage with like 9 other people in 2016?

His post will be tweeted by tens of thousands of people on Twitter. Seriously, you need to be insane or just dumb to think the reach of the debate on TV would’ve even close.

An 8-8 season sandwiched between two Super Bowls.

No shite. You could even say they’re devoted to him and not policy, which would be expected from populists.

They keep confirming every single thing we say about them.

Hopefully Desantis doesn't say something like "Mr trump, you don't hate them queerosexuals, and you actually believe you deserve to the gop nominee? "

We know. That's the point. It also isn't new, despite your incorrect assertion.

As long as it's a fair contest, I'll go along in good faith, unless or until rogue heathen threaten my beloved. But you can damn well bet that a lot won't, especially when it comes to the souls of their children.
That's the propaganda being spread, sure.

Honestly not much because I don’t live paycheck to paycheck like you must do. But his spending definitely led to a lot more damage than the cuts helped.
One of the things that Cult45 will never admit is Trump's "best economy ever" was largely fueled by irresponsible deficit spending. And that was before COVID.
