LMFAO …….You think Trump doesn’t kowtow to Pro-Israel megadonors? You can’t be that naive.

I don’t think you can pass something called “a clarification.” It’s either a bill, passed successfully through the legislature, and then signed into law by the Governor, or it’s not.

You don’t know what you are talking about. The legislature of FL passed 15 bills last month that clarified language of other bills. Go check the FL legislature website if you don’t believe me.

How many L’s do you sycophants have to take before you accept your failed status? Like literally every Ron man bad post you sycophants post, you don’t read the fricking article.

SDV, is your primary account blocked or did you abandon that handle after getting embarrassed too many times here?

Wouldnt that be bad for the people that hate trump and maga?

Why would you want desantis to surround himself with the same losers trump did?

I admit I’m no expert on these matters, but do have a better grasp than you fellas who are dead set on getting the last word, regardless whether it’s anywhere near correct or not. To your point, I would simply ask whether any of the “clarifications” resulted in something “new” i.e. a legal requirement that didn’t exist prior to the “clarification?” If so, how do you debate the assertion that the new requirement isn’t “new law”?

Seems as if you and the others are latching onto a semantics argument that just isn’t the hill you should want to die on, or for. “Clarifications”…..”revisions” Perhaps one of those distinctions without a difference.

I read a few of the clarification bills earlier this week. From what I remember, the bills give the passage as originally written and passed as a strike through and then follows with the intended language. And I think the bills were passed last week not last month, if I’m not mistaken.

One good rule of thumb is probably that if something (namely a bill) coming out of the state legislature requires the signature of the governor, then it creates a new provision to the particular existing law. It comes in the form of striking through a prior existing section or provision and replacing it with the new language, or it could add a completely new section to the entire existing law, or it could just “tinker” with specific aspects within. In any event, the final result is something different that one must comply with that wasn’t the case prior to the legislative action.

Are you accusing me of being “so invested” due to my attempts to clear up certain misconceptions on this particular topic? If so I guess I’m guilty as charged. You would prefer to go off armed with incorrect information and understanding of the matter? That’s just not the ideal way of carrying on, IMO. I guess ignorance is bliss.

**And if you think my overall point here is to attack Desantis, that would be completely incorrect. I have simply debated the specific idea of legislative process.

You're "so invested" because you're clearly wrong, and you keep digging.

I know you enjoy “entertaining yourself” on here like this, and that’s fine and all, but I would think doing so in a way that doesn’t leave you looking quite so uninformed would be a more preferable way to go about it. I’m just spitballing here.

Keep it going.

The fact is that you've had to beckpedal constantly in here.

First it was new law.

Then, "new law."

Then, "technically," an amendment.

Then, actually an amendment.

Then, a revision.

Then, then, then.

And when you were directly challenged on specific statutes, you wisely chose to shut up about it.

I can’t help it that you can’t comprehend otherwise very easy, straightforward concepts and terms. That’s a you problem, not a me problem. I’m just the charitable person calmly trying to help out. And what does it get me. I won’t give up on a friend in need though.

**Oh and my serial downvoting friend, always

Oh, so that's why you've been pivoting all over the place. It's not that you don't know what you're talking about, you're just trying to help.

Thanks for making it look like you're incompetent.
