I’m always amazed about people bitching about good news.

Bro. I hope Trump doesn't see this. Don't even play. Ronnie will get his opportunity. There's a reason why Trump has a relatively healthy lead amongst potential Republican 2024 candidates. What is that reason you may ask? Well, because it's Donald Friggin Trump.

Democrats know it too, or else they wouldn't be devoting the lion's share of their negative energy to continuing to smearing DJT.

Donald trump would not have done this. He would be trying to appease the media, the left, and Kushner. All after he fired MAGA Steve Bannon and after he granted amnesty to dreamers.

I ain’t wrong

Look, Desantis is definitely a bodacious dude. He deserves a good bit of respect. And by golly he's got mine.

But the particularly relevant factor to consider is that Desantis basically has had a rubber stamp with the state legislature and supreme court. Trump had nowhere near that advantage and benefit but instead obstruction in every direction, even amongst some Republicans who were ill-equipped in the areas of logic and common sense. He had a whole bunch of bastards to deal with. This doesn't absolve him of all fault, but it's a very significant factor.

Damn that is down right savage. It’s subtle and smooth, but still savage. Trump needs to take notes. This is how you do it.

And if 2024 is his best opportunity and by all indications it is, he will strike while the iron is hot. He’s not Christie and Jindal passing on 2012.

Just say you want a coronation for Trump and absolutely no competition at all.

Lack of name ID amongst potential candidates that will improve more once the 2024 cycle gets underway after the midterms.

Seriously tho, those two will have it worked out with some sort of mutual understanding long before go time arrives. And I won't even try to speculate as to how and what, but they are not rivals. Plus, the fact remains that Desantis simply would not be governor but for Trump's proactive endorsement of him over the other Republican dude who was looking to cruise to the nomination.

Trump literally hired quite a few of those bastards to begin with and still associates with a lot of them.

Meanwhile, DeSantis has a very, very tight inner circle, throughly vets his hires and has almost no leaks because he inspires personal loyalty and that’s a very big factor why DeSantis has a very tight administration in Florida and Trump did not.

Trump did not have his own political cronies when he got to DC and that was and still is a big setback to him.

You speculate like this but then you say you...

Then why was this bit being floated in Politico a few days ago?

Trump sours on DeSantis

Either someone in Trump’s camp is mouthing off about DeSantis or Politico is lying about DeSantis assuring Trump.
