Another good thing to tell people would be to list each cabinet position and state the 3 guiding principles that each nominee must abide by for each position.

The best way to get rid of the IRS would be to eliminate withholding and make the tax bill due on November 1st instead of April 15th. Let people write that check right before the elections and Christmas shopping season.

Absolutely no reason to not attempt to go to fair tx, flat tax, or some kind of hybrid.
We have about 7000 pages of IRS tax code now.
Simplify the tax code. Reduce the size and scope of the IRS or eliminate it.
It needs to be talked about and debated.

That doesn’t even work.
It does nothing to overturn the LAW. It just removes the irs staff. At best.
You need congress to change the laws. A potus cannot disband the irs.

You'd need ten times the IRS agents to track down all the deadbeats. But, in theory, you are correct in that most people don't even pay attention to how much is being withheld.

Taking out the IRS is a long term goal. It doesn't help though that Trump is attacking DeSantis for wanting to do it though and saying he is going to tax poor people because the only way to get there is with a National Sales Tax.
If you look at how DeSantis operates though in FL he understands incrementalism. You set a big goal and get as much of it as you can. Then you come back and look for more and more until you get there. Obviously he doesn't have the votes for taking out the IRS right off the bat but he can start that process and maybe by the time he finishes 8 years he can get there.

The federal tax system we now are familiar with stands in direct opposition to the spirit of freedom and liberty this country was founded upon, and as such has been used post WWI as a means of controlling both people and states by our federal overseers. Anything that ends that absurdly corrupt system is going to be in keeping with this country’s founding and serve the people more than at present. That being said, you can prepare yourselves for the fight of your life, because all power in Washington relies upon it and the power, wealth, and influence it gives them. They will not give it up without fighting tooth and nail to maintain their power and influence over you.

We all saw what happened with Trump from the agencies literally interfering in the elections to the attempts to remove him.
From the GOPE who literally tried sabotaged the agenda to them sabotaging elections...
But we should push all that aside and give in to them by promoting somebody else.... cause then.. We might could win??

I support Trump, but he wouldn't be able to do it either.
The federal government is the peoples enemy. They know it and have insulated themselves. If they feel threatened, they will do whatever it takes to stay in power. Look at everything they have thrown at Trump. They won't go that far with DeSantis, they don't feel threatened by DeSantis.

The IRS was created by law, that is, by Congress. The president cannot just ignore the laws that Congress has passed and do the opposite.
THUS the reason why bills have been introduced to eliminate them.
