Can you explain why it would apply to Jews but not Muslims?

I edited it because I am not sure the first potential misdemeanor applies so the enhancement would not either.

I am having a difficult time with reaching the conclusion that being in public and praying gives you some sort of absolute protection

Remember the case you cited was a physical assault not words

I think it is a huge difference

Well, nothing but Florida statutory law, but let's not concern ourselves with that, m'kay?

And there are videos of people attacking Christians praying for pro-life causes. Or at a flag pole.

Interesting. Seems pretty clear that you are wrong. Wisconsin v. Mitchell settled this 40 years ago.

Florida Statute 871.01, “Whoever willfully and maliciously interrupts or disturbs any school or any assembly of people met for the worship of God, … commits a misdemeanor of the first degree."
Clearly, that language applies only to worship of the Trinitarian Christian God.

Actual monotheists need not apply.

Ron DeSantis signed that into law. He did it after several antisemitic incidents.

That’s unfortunate.

And if they commit an assault, they should be arrested and prosecuted.

This is not complex stuff.

And no the ANTIFA type fricks aren't getting arrested for causing issues or even assault.

You lefties act like there isn't videos of worse things happening for years.

It actually isn't a huge difference as Wisconsin v. Mitchell wasn't about the assault but the hate crime enhancement. It held that hate crime enhancements, like Florida Statute 775.085, are Constitutional.

They just ate bacon and taunted them a little. Nothing worth an arrest.

What happened last month that might have drawn people to an LSU website to check the latest news?

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is only one of me.

They should be.

Again, this is not complex stuff.

But they aren't and I'm sure you'll find some wannabe legal beagle reason they shouldn't be if the time came up.

But your attempts at making these points are moot since the guys in the OP didn't commit an assault. I guess realizing that was too complex for you

If they were arrested, the cops will be fired. If they're university police, the school will be sued out of their asses.

I figured I would talk about Kelly and the coaching search for a few days........but then that whole thing became The Real Housewives of the SEC. I love college football but it is close to impossible to keep up the firehose of information.
