Is there an actual source on this or a full quote, any context? Anything?

Something tells me there's more to this than what "Catturd" is putting out there. It's almost like we should've learned not to trust an out of context snippet or a single biased source making a claim over the last 7 years...

We all throw a fit when it happens to Trump, and yet the same people here are just fine when it's someone in their own party

So I went through all of those links and the only thing they actually have as is "other people" at the event said that "DeSantis doesn't think that Trump's tariffs on China were effective".

That doesn't mean what the OP is saying IF it is even what he said. They have all these quotes from actual people and then this "other people" quote and then that becomes the whole story.

Wow - DeSantis confirms to CA donors he won’t reimpose China tariffs & I know exactly why:

He was out here yesterday in Coalinga for a closed door donor meeting. So what in the hell does this guy know what happened behind those closed doors?

This is nothing more than guesswork. It may turn out accurate and it may not. But this is just twitter bullshite being treated as if it is insider knowledge.

So the money stays in the US? Didn't Trump use tariff money to pay farmers?

Tariffs off the table during trade negotiations. Great for GOPe donors usually invested in multinational corporations that want to sell back into America without the same rules going back to China, for example.

This is not unexpected. This is the establishment way.

Wait, didn’t Griffin come out agains t DeSantis like a month or 2 ago? He did, I remember the sycophants trying to breakdance over DeSantis not having his support and simultaneously trying to tell us that DeSantis was paid for by big donors.

So what’s the propaganda today?

You would think Trump's hardcore base would be more hesitant to believe one or two biased, unsourced claims on Twitter after all the bullshite claims about Trump himself... But here we are.

That's why I'm asking anyone to provide any context, a full quote, a video, anything. Because I'm 99.99% sure this will turn out just like every other politically biased tactic to attack a conservative online by leaving out the true context, except this time it's friendly fire from other supposed "conservatives"

Ken Griffin has been privately telling people he’s deeply troubled by DeSantis

Ok, sycophants. Which is it? DeSantis is or isn’t run by donor Griffin. It changes every week.

This was a tax increase. $52 billion. According to this article in Forbes the tariffs cost $2031 per family.

Forbes

So what happened with Trump's tariffs?

My taxes were raised $2000 per year which was given to American farmers. You were correct about that. This was a sham. Bottomline I should not have had to give American farmers my $2000. Trump sold you this grift and the lower IQ voters ate it up.

I can do without a tax increase whether it is $200 or $2000.

This is a big issue for me and I’m off the Desantis train if true.

Trumps trade war with China was one of my favorite things he did. I won’t support a candidate who kisses Chinese arse

Tariffs are a tax. Trump's tariffs cost the American consumer $52 billion. "The Trump administration imposed nearly $80 billion worth of new taxes on Americans by levying tariffs on thousands of products, which is equivalent to one of the largest tax increases in decades. Based on 2021 import levels and country exemptions, the tariffs amounted to a $52.6 billion tax increase in 2021."

Trumps trade policies led to the catfish industry (what I do) reverse 15 years of decline and grow 10% in 2 years before covid hit. Acreage increased, plants were expanding, jobs created. You won’t convince me Trumps trade policies were bad.

Trump also cut corporate and individual taxes so if anything it was a wash tax wise but grew the economy
