DeSantis has never lived in a pressure cooker like Trump has for decades. That is the only knock against him.

Ummm, electability. Liberals with TDS still won’t vote for him. Let’s remove the TDS from the equation.

Come up for air and stop blowing Trump. Trump can be valuable for endorsing DeSantis and rallying for him. Trump may very well lose if he runs for the Presidency while DeSantis won’t barring extreme fraud. He’s the clear candidate.

I agree completely, and I love that orange bastard. Desantis is better at being a dick without being obnoxious.

Yes. Two weeks ago he served a journalist as brutally as Tulsi served Kamala in the debates. I’m sorry, but Trump doesn’t deserve a second chance after his shite show of a debate with a dementia patient during his first debate performance where he just came across as an obnoxious a-hole. That may have very well cost him the election. Imagine Kamala across the stage from this guy: Twitter

With all due respect, you’re fricking moron to think that.

Younger.
More measured in his thoughts, and can express them better.
Perhaps isn’t as in love with debt.

Trump is in his 70s and was born and raised in a pressure environment. Decades of experience developing tough skin. Trump has been everywhere and been in the media spotlight for most of his life. The media loved to hate on Trump long before he became president. Trump has been in this business since the 70s when Desantis was still a baby.

DeSantis is his early 40s, lacks that type of experience that Trump has which a normal person doesn't experience in life. Trump has been tested his whole life and DeSantis has not.

What DeSantis needs to do is continue to be governor and gain more experience and become more battle tested. He isn't ready quite yet to take on the full blast of the Democrat machine just yet as Trump has taken most of the blows.

It would be better if Trump wins the 24 election and so that people can move on and Desantis can win in 28.

DeSantis will win a second term as Governor because he is literally the best Governor in the United States.

Look at Florida. Free, booming economy, and people LOVE HIM. There is a reason why people are scrambling to Florida. Why tourism in Florida is the highest ever. He's unbeatable.

2) when does he actually kick off his campaign?

He kind of already has. The press of what he's doing is starting to ramp up.

bullshite. DeSantis gets you the Trump economy, but with conservatism added in, without all of the other bullshite. DeSantis can drive a clear message, which Trump struggled to do at times, because he was busy fighting the media over trivial shite.

I'd prefer DeSantis over Trump any day. DeSantis record, and his expert handling of the media without having all of the other bullshite around him, has made him the only politician, right now (outside of Trump) that can beat the left. And actually, i think he'll have an easier road than Trump.

Now don't get me wrong, i would love to see Trump win 2024 mainly out of revenge for stealing an election, but also to have 8 years of Desantis after Trump. But the swamp is geared up for a Trump fight. They don't really know how to fight DeSantis, as we've seen the press fail MULTIPLE times to get him.

We really need governors like DeSantis. He really needs to stay governor of Florida. Rand Paul for President.

Doesn't pick unnecessary fights with people that agree with him on 80% of issues but instead reserves it for the Dims. .

Youth.

Better speaker.

Less baggage from years of battles with the media and the whole 1/6/21 fiasco.

More professional

Can deliver a pivotal state.

I too appreciate what MAGA did. With the current idiot in the White House it really shows how well MAGA did do policy wise. Border, gas prices, foreign policy, peace, employment.

Trump was the right man at the right time to expose the corruption and light a fire under conservatives.

DeSantis is the man that can carry it for two terms in DC.

Unless most if not all of the rinos are ran out of the Republican party then DeSantis will have the same problems like Trump did with his own party. The fake news media will test DeSantis just like Trump and it remains to be seen if he can take them on. It is going to take more than four years to get rid of these rinos and that is if these potential candidates aren't rinos in disguise.

If Trump decides to run in 24 and we know he will then DeSantis has no chance. But that is fine because DeSantis has time on his side and would be more seasoned as a result in 28. Trump will make it even easier for him to run.

It is much easier to get things done as a governor in Florida but a lot harder once a person stops into DC politics. DeSantis like Trump won't have many people backing him up. He doesn't have to be another Trump but he can't be a Jeb Bush and let the left bully him.

The Dem media has no playbook to deal with any Republican candidate. They will do the same to DeSantis just like Trump. DeSantis will not only dodge but punch back if he is going to survive against this onslaught of fake media.

DeSantis is good, however I think if DJT does run in ‘24 I think he is going to nominate Noem as VP.

I could be wrong but wouldn’t be surprised.

That would be a disappointment. Noem has proven to be a coward.
