I say let the 52K people on a landmass bigger than Alaska vote for independence and they will and then start the process of making them a State. What is Denmark or the EU gonna do? Write a strongly worded letter? This is why Greenland is appealing and Canada is not. Even if the population are libs it is only 52K people. The people that would move there to build the infrastructure would likely be conservative. So it would be a Red State with a shite ton of resources and would be good strategically for military bases. I am not about Canada so much ,but Greenland absolutely.

So Trump is going to invade Greenland, invoking article 5 of NATO and an act of war against all of Europe

Rename the Gulf of Mexico, which would likely be perceived as unauthorized annexation of Mexico sovereign water per the United Nations Law of the Sea

Seize and occupy the Panama Canal, invoking article 3 of the Rio Treaty and an act of aggression against all of South America, while simultaneously acting as effective declaration of war on China as it would be done solely as a precursor to blockading Chinese imports/exports across the waterway

Withdraw from USMCA and levy sanctions against Canada in order to cripple the nation economically and force it to accept US statehood

So is it still considered World War III if it's the entire world vs a singular nation? And by singular nation, I really mean a soon to be multi-national joint military occupation awaiting partition
