Sunday on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation,” Democratic strategist James Carville sounded the alarm over the upcoming midterm elections.

After sharing how “petrified” and “mortified” he was heading into the midterms, Carville said that “if this country does not have a voter intervention,” then he was “not optimistic about its future.”

“I am not a voice of calm. I’m petrified,” Carville told host Al Sharpton. “And I will echo what my friend Congressman Clyburn said — if this country does not have voter intervention, I am not optimistic about its future.”

“And if people, and particularly young people, if they care any about this country — and as you know; you were once a young person one time on the forefront of the civil rights movement — if they don’t get a hold of this and do something, I am mortified,” he continued. “And I wholly endorse the Clyburn strategy of voter intervention, but I am not a voice of confidence at all. I am very afraid right now.”

Clyburn wants a complete Federal take over of elections! Now the Clinton wing of the party is itching for it

So here we are on the 4th thinking about all that our nation fought for. All we have been through and the dems are talking about taking OVER.

Talking about getting RID of our voting process.

Clyburn had warned throughout the past year that it would be politically “catastrophic” for Democrats if they allowed the filibuster to sink efforts to adopt new voting rights protections. He had urged Biden to press Senate Democrats — particularly the centrist Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) — to support a carve-out to the filibuster rule that would be narrowly targeted to voting rights legislation.

Why does the clip not have what Clyburn actually said that Carville is referencing?

quote:

the Clyburn strategy

What did he say, specifically?

That clip sounded like Carville was warning the DEMs they need to get their voters motivated or they will lose bigly. That's why they compared it to 2020 when he said they need to be calm and execute. Carville is known to call out the national party for being too extreme and focusing on the wrong things, leading to election losses.

They’re not scared. They are setting people up to believe something they are busy cooking up.

When Clyburn is involved in something, you can rest assured it’s not above board.

Yeah, them and Albert Einstein. WTF are you talking about? Carville is nearly a genius. That guy was credited, by Bill Clinton, for orchestrating his winning campaign in 1992. That’s not the resume of a stupid person.

And Sharpton has craftily risen to the top of what was a rather mature race-baiting industry. Again, that’s not the work of a dummy.

I oppose most of what these two men stand for, but stupid? No sir.

Carville is not stupid - he is a smart 'politician' = meaning no moral/patriotic constraints
Sharpton is not merely stupid - he is also evil

Oh, yeah. I forgot. James Carville also got a heroin addict elected as mayor-president of EBR Parish. If he's so smart then why does he say such stupid things on shows hosted by very, very, very stupid people?

It's quoted from a secondary article.

All you really need to do is run a quick search.

voting intervention means have Clyburn force some fed take over of the election. then they can bus and pay for votes in all the black churches in the USA, stuff the ballot box, mail in vote times 6 million.

i don't imagine there are too many blacks, browns, whites, in the projects that they can buy votes from. they sit home all day and watch Maury Povich & Judge Judy, get high, and drink beer.

but when they cruise in their 2022 Caddie SUV they have no free money to pay for gas. their SNAP card doesn't buy as many lobster tails and steaks.

and what happened to Carville warning about the crazy woke crap? now he just tells them to cheat like hell.

YOU think it’s stupid because you oppose him. That doesn’t make it stupid. You thinking it makes it stupid does imply stupidity, but by who?

The definition of smart is subjective. What he stated and what the dems are doing right now is a TAKE OVER of our gov.

Fascism, is here; the Dems condemn that which they don't even recognize in themselves. What is the texbook definition of "Fascism"? Which Party wants to implement absolute control of the Culture and Economy, top to bottom?

We can pick our poison...'mob rule' democracy via Fascist Elites enabled by electoral fraud...or 'dictatorial' rule by Constitutional/God given Rights patriots. The the rising 'Red Wave' of Patriots are the force which inspires Carville's "not optimistic".

Would love to see Carville come on the Poliboard and school us 'insurrectionists'. He won't...and we know why. So does he. For Carville and all of us, our biggest fear should be how Jesus judges us at the end of this life. Jesus said that "if you deny me (also said that "I am the Truth"), I will deny you". Lying - for whatever reason - is not a way to instill optimism re the future.

It's coming.

I stopped at host Al Sharpton. Did he ever pay the millions of dollars in back taxes he owed to the IRS?
