Dems may not get gangraped in Nov. 2020 after all

It's been hard times for Democrats since late January. AOC grinning like a wharf rat and high fiving and of social justice warriors and feminists. The little Muslim lady who looks like a Star Wars character going all anti-Semite on everybody.

Millennials and gen Z needle dicks thinking that "socialism" was another way of saying "free college," so therefore bring on the socialism dammit!!!

The Green New Deal. Screw it, what's another 10 trillion if it means that cows stop farting so much.

Today, for the first time, I can see a path forward. Beto isn't the perfect candidate. He went all Ted Kennedy about 30 years ago just without the dead girl. He had that really ding-y and space cadet article where he admitted to not knowing very much about the Constitution.

Plus Trump is the incumbent. The old adage is that the only way a President doesn't get re-elected is an economic calamity or if the people really really don't like the direction of the economy.

These are not normal times though. If Beto keeps smiling and playing it cool, Trump will get killed in the female vote and Republican dudes' wives will get wet for Beto and not tell their husbands and say "YEAH, I voted for Trump today" while lying to their husbands' faces.

A dude in his 40s who's still not considered old and crusty and dorky (Obama, Clinton) seems to be the path forward for Democrats. Voters get all hopey-changey.

Perhaps most importantly, if the Dems win Beto's home state, Trump is royally screwed.

I still wouldn't bet against Trump however. The Dems will find another new and unique way to crap the bed and give the election away. Self-sabotage. The Democratic party is a lot like the libertarian party was 10, 20 years ago. There are so many little voting blocs with weird and obscure priorities that it's hard to build a consensus and not screw things up and hand Trump another victory.
