they were "embracing" them when it was a few that helped give them more votes, but they let a fire smolder and now its a raging fire that they can no longer control.....

after midterms, the socialist wing may have the vote to start getting positions of power in congress.....this genie is not going back in the bottle, the establishment wing of the DNC is losing control....

They are going to kill this guy.

quote:

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) said a “significant part” of the Democratic Party is being “taken over” with “extreme views” after candidates with ties to democratic socialism recently scored wins in congressional races.

Fetterman said during an appearance on Fox News’s “Saturday in America” that the rise in progressive candidates signals a growing shift for the party.

quote:

“There’s a significant part of our party that’s getting taken over with these extreme views,” Fetterman said.

“You know, whether it’s P-Hustle in Maine or the new squad coming in out of New York City or the guy in Colorado, that’s the direction that our party’s going,” he added, referring to Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) by a nickname.

The same has been written many times about the MAGA movement and the GOP.

And both are correct. Traditional voting blocks like labor unions and college grands with business degrees no longer align with the parties as they did in from the '60s - '90s. Blacks and Hispanics have shown substantial shifts in voting in the past decade.

That is not to say any of this is bad, just that the political landscape has fundamentally changed and it is unclear what the "new normal" will be in the coming election cycles.

They're scared of the "new" Dems you say? As well they should be. Our pal Barook Obama and Joe Biden has allowed so many of these radical Islamist in this country plus the D.E.I. anti-Trumpsters have shielded them so effectively they are now emboldened. I read reports that at least two Christian churches in NYC have been torched.

......and so it begins.

Trump 2026 - They're really coming after you - I'm just standing in the way.

We'll see what he says when AOC or Sanders wins the first few DEM presidential primaries again.

They’re already well beyond losing control, they’ve lost control.

Joos are absolutely fricked going forward.

If you're a Dem and your position is pro-Israel, you are cooked. I'm not arguing whether that is a good thing or bad thing, but it's certainly a thing.

Well, they created Frankenstein's monster, so now they have to deal with it (along with the rest of us, unfortunately).

It is his fault in the sense that he’s forced the DNC to become more and more radicalized to oppose him. They didn’t have a problem with the rhetoric when it benefited the old guard.

Idiots.

It’s not that they’re scared of them, they’re scared of being replaced by them and losing all their power.

If the Democrat party is serious about regaining momentum, they'd fight like hell to separate themselves from these socialists/communists in their party in an attempt to make themselves APPEAR more centrist.

That's what I would do if I were running the party, anyway. But that probably makes too much sense for their tiny smooth brains.

Sorry your mom took Tylenol carrying you. If not for Obama, Bush neocons, Clinton selling out to Chynah....

Trump would have never been designated to break all norms and protocols and become President.

Exactly. It's encouraging to see him getting ratio'd in that thread.

One thing to consider is that of the 3 Socialists elected in N.Y. they only received 18%, 16%, and 16% of the vote.

The commies are causing a split in the Democrat Party that they have largely been taking over since back in the late 1960's. Now they are coming out of the ideological closet, but old dems and liberal dems were anti-communist.

All this shite only proves that it is the Democrats who have moved to the extreme fringes of the left, not Republicans that have "moved so far right," like MSNBC watching Democrats, like my mother, claim. The Dems have coddled these commies for years and given mainstream party relevance to their radical beliefs and ideology... and now the monster the created is destroying them. I'm here for it. Just keep that bullshite in shitholes like NYC though.
