re: Dems and Progs, why does my MAGA hat and Trump shirt bother you so damn much?

There are lunatics on both sides of this. One side lets their crazy out more than the other. That doesn't absolve anyone.
Attacking someone because of a Trump hat is.

First is a compliment, second is a nope.

So what? You're talking about varying degrees of negative reactions at that point.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to say that if I don't like your support of Obama, that's a good bit different than if I don't like your support of Obama and then proceed to verbally assault you in a public place or outright physically assault you.
Disliking opposing ideas is a rather normal human behavior. Hell, it's expected. I encourage it!

Neat.
How does that change what I said?

I really like how you use the most sane example versus the most insane example depending on which best supports your position.

From what I've gathered, it represents pushback against an entire generations upbringing. Everyone got a trophy, everyone's a victim, etc.
a MAGA hat is translated as "frick your feelings" in their jello brains.
Trump wasn't supposed to win for this long in life. the liberal types were promised the wealthy jocks of the world would peak in high school, and at some point the so called intellectual left would carry them farther in life than the Trumps of the world.
They aren't emotionally able to handle a true competition where people get various outcomes. They were PROMISED everything.

Meh. I'm merely observing that there is not even a remote comparison in terms of number.
I make no assertion that most liberals would verbally assault or physically assault a Trump hat wearer. I merely point out that they vastly outnumber their counterparts which is demonstrably indisputable.
One can bet their arse that if a bunch of conservatives all over the country had been kicking Obama supporters out of their restaurants or doing any of the other behaviors we'd seen in the last couple of years, that shite would have broken all of our TVs with repetition.

Sure, but again, that's just degrees of stupidity. I wouldn't ever deny that those people are idiots. I'm just saying that from the OP, those idiots don't absolve others of their stupidity.

There isn't a comparison in the degree of insanity. I think that's what you mean.

It's stupid to behave like an idiot to oppose ideas or politicians you don't like. For both sides.

Maybe we can help them design a hat of their own, going into 2020!
Can we fit all that on a hat?

Which is what was being discussed RE: your correct assertion that one side lets out more of their crazy than the other.

I don't believe most folks itt are seeking absolution for others based upon the stupidity of their counterparts across the aisle.
Merely pointing out the marked difference in response to benign paraphernalia.

I’m not a Dem or a Prog, but the answer is a combination of a) the left is less into sports and God than the right is, so politics serves as their sport/religion, and the red hat represents the “other team” and b) Trump is a shitty President.
That lard-arse couldn’t even get a fricking wall built for two years when he had both houses; now to get it done he had to set a compromising executive checks-and-balances precedent to get it underway. This board went into meltdown mode when his predecessor overreached, but the MAGAts, ironically, are treating him as more of a sports/religious figure than as a President. The left hasn’t seen the right treat a President like this since Reagan; the difference was that Reagan was actually good at the gig.
I always thought the left was soft on principles; they’re “on the right side of history” and “morally right,” so they don’t have to “play by the rules.” Now Trump boyz cheer on their god and will say, plainly, “well it’s ok if they do it,” as if that isn’t the most little-dicked cuck NPC reason to do anything.
Besides the fact that I’ve always preferred the Republican candidate over the Democrat, I’ve genuinely enjoyed all post-election meltdowns beginning in 2004. I didn’t think that the Obama meltdowns like the eight years on this board would ever be equaled, but the Trump victory proved me wrong. Should he win again, the meltdown will be predictably intense, but I’m getting more and more curious as to how this board (the most pro-Trump environment in my life) would handle a Trump loss, especially to something not white and not male.
Either way, :csb: :tldr:

Most of the Dems, Cucks, Progs, and Libs have been literally shitting themselves for over two years.
Quite sad actually.
