The real question here is why did Carlson suddenly do a 180 on Trump? Couple this with the fact that he's been acting as an apologist for Islam for the past few months, and it isn't hard to see that he's been compromised by some group or entity.
Sad to see, really. He didn't always act anywhere near as bizarre as he does now (even when you take his complete reversal on Trump out of the equation).

I share some criticisms of the hold some advisors and donors have on Trump but I think as a result of Trumps attacks on him Tucker has gone well past the range of reasonable critique and is ranging into TDS.
As I said before, I support Trump on 80% of what he does and desperately want this movement to be successful.
I just don't understand the logic of saying someone is demon possessed when they disagree with you on FISA or Iran. It discredits whatever reasonable concern you had to frame it within that context and makes you look insane which is also my criticism of Alex Jones.
If you think the guy is just massively persuasive or charismatic say that. Don't say he's casting spells on people or make vague allusions to him being an anti-christ.
In other words dont wrap the truth with bombast unless you want people to question whether you're actually attempting to discredit the truth by making it look crazy.

I think Tucker is describing something I have never seen before in politics. Trump does have a unique ability to get those around him to go along with whatever he says.
The only exception that I have seen was the Door Dash prop woman from Arkansas who didn't immediately agree with Trump about the importance of getting boys out of girls' sports.
Tucker makes thousands of observations and predictions. Some of them are right. Many are wrong. From my perspective, he adds value to the national discourse because he asks many questions that others don't AND he has thoughtful interviews with relevant guests. For instance, I mostly disagree with Nick Fuentes, but I understand his arguments much better because Carlson interviewed him.

Agree. I should have been more clear: "Tucker's interview led to Fuentes revealing himself for what he is." It's much more persuasive to see that than just hear someone else assert that Fuentes is a fraud.
