BCBS has to pay 90 million in La alone. My companies rates going up 14%. Just go to show companies don't pay taxes the people that pay for their products pay. Now I have to decide if I am going to eat or pass along to employees.

If you can't manage your business where you can't absorb some of the medical cost increase don't expect your best workers will stick with you. They'll go to a place that values the health of them and their families.

And once the best leave, you will be stuck with mediocre and weak employees and end up paying more down the line.

Sorry you don't seem to know how to deal with a simple business problem.

More proof that Obamacare was nothing but a kickback to the insurance providers and a huge "FUGG YOU" to every American that pays taxes.

Mine went up 300% ... from $500 a month to $1500.00 a month for a similar Cadillac plan. This is through my wife's company, a Forbes 500 Company. They allowed many more choices this year but at $500 a month the out of pocket expenses, deductibles and copays were sky high and only for young people in excellent health.

Drugs are tiered now ... some not even covered.

It's a shite show.

I blame that worm meat McCain for this as much as anybody.

Or maybe don’t have the new Obama tax on health care providers.

One of the worst posts that I have read on this board. Businesses cannot plan for artificial market adjustments due to government interference. Let the market freely provide options and you will start to see price stability.

Every regulation increases costs. Period.

I already pay 95% of the premiums. My employees pay $23.27 per payroll for their BCBS PPO policy with a $750 deductible. They won't get much better than that elsewhere.

This was the clincher for me. Even when it came to Roy Moore. The dems own this. I remember them pushing it through and smugly celebrating it. What an absolute disaster

Quit complaining and being selfish, you might not be able to afford insurance, but a bunch of others are getting it free or super cheap. You should be happy for them and support it.

Thanks for straightening me out. I don't know what I was thinking. I mean what's another 50K a year to go to the underprivileged and undeserved. I know the government can spend that money way better than I could. I mean all I could do with it is give my employees more money to spend or hire an extra employee with it.

Health insurance has not been a simple business problem. It’s really a clusterfrick year in/year out. You have to plan for short notice/long term drastic changes accordingly and stay competitive.

I hope your post was a troll post. If not, I’m concerned about the capacity of your brain.
