Why isn’t this being discussed more? We are taking the house, but the senate was always up in the air, based on seats up for re-election. 23D to 10R up for grabs in next cycle.

PA is a disappointment, but the worst case is D51 R49, which is exactly the status quo at D50 R50 because VP is the tie breaker. Decent shot, 2 days after the election, for R+1.

This was never going to be a R+4 or +5 cycle in the senate. So why are GOP voters fighting with each other over an election 2 years away? Even ask the President* in a rare opportunity to question what he thinks about the supposed “battle” that will occur.

Don’t fall for the BS the media is pushing. Red wave is made up. The pendulum is shifting back to the right. And that’s a fact.

We are a nation of drama queens, and Trump, COVID, looting, and riots overstimulated the populace into emotional oblivion.

We’re outrage and disaster junkies looking for the next fix on social and legacy media.

Exactly. And the fact they can do it to 25% on this board in 5 hours on a Tuesday, when we all talk about “sheep” that are democrat voters, pretty hypocritical isn’t it?

Not true. We need to hold the filibuster. Manchin and Synema have held strong. But at 51 only one needs to break now to overturn it.

What blows my mind is there aren’t more conservative D senators out there defending it. How can Tester overturn it? He represents Montana of all places.

Depends on GOP candidates and if GOP goes full civil war. If we are divided, we will fall. 3rd party Trump would lead to progs no longer needing to worry about filibuster.

We should be fine as long as Trump puts country over self. Oh shite, we are screwed.

It doesn't matter. We won't fix mail-in voting by 2024, because we don't want to fix it. If they fixed it, it would mean Donald Trump would win in 2024. Our overlords don't want that.

Turnout in 2024 will be absurd again just like in 2020, and democrats will crush us.

Unfortunately, Montana population centers are being left coasted.

They're warming up the printers now. They will stuff whatever box ( ), burst whatever pipe, harvest however many ballots necessary.

I dont think there will be any talk about the filibuster while pubs control the house. The senate cant pass anything on its own.

There is almost as much chance for a Trump / DeSantis ticket is there is for a DeSantis / Trump. There is 0 chance Trump doesn't run. There is a near ) chance DeSantis doesn't run.

DeSantis won't run as a 3rd, Trump will.

I have been talking about it for days

It is why a good day can be thought of as better because not only do they have a nightmare senate slate of races, there will be more repair of CHEATING and election thieving BY DEMOCRATS in leading up to 24

51-49 is NOT the same as it was. At 51-49, Manchin breaking from the nuts still leaves it at 50, and then heels-up casts tie breaker. 50-50, Manchin can cause crazy shite to fail.

51-49 if the Dems somehow take the House could prove disastrous.

Think how many things would have passed, like the filibuster removal and the full blown multi-trillion green wish list due to Manchin being the ONLY dissent.

Can now block in the house. And the Dems rammed inflation reduction act through with it 50/50. They passed everything they wanted. It doesn’t matter now that we have the house.
