Exactly. They are telling Republicans to put their money where the voters' mouths are, knowing damn well that they own enough "Republicans" to end any real voting effort on the issue before it actually gets the info released.

I think this is a Trump head-fake... either that, or he is somehow implicated.
Given the type of head-faking we have seen from this administration, as well as the fact that the MAGA movement is riding on this, my thought and prayer is that it is the former.

The only thing I can think of is that there is something in there that makes Trump look bad. If it was criminal, they would have released it already, while they controlled the release. There must be something they can hang their hat on that gives the appearance of impropriety.
They want Trump to release it, so they can't be accused of playing politics.
A lot of Dems really aren't familiar with the Epstein shite. Many don't seem to think that Clinton and other prominent Democrats are in the files at all. They think it will just be Trump and Republicans.

On the flip side… There are many in the GOP sphere who did give a damn and were very vocal about it. And now they are not.

I would even venture that this is their strategy on basically everything especially since Trump has been around. It is so obvious and up front I don't see how nobody can see it.

Because both sides are implicated so the Dems didn't release it to protect their own. There's also the spectre of Israel being involved and both sides want to protect them as well. The former Israeli PM used to stay at Epstein's house in NYC yet the Israelis now say they knew nothing about Epstein.
