When I say winning the immigration battle, I meant it through a political lens. And no I dont think that all "brown" people will vote Democrat but I do think the Democratic party believes they will if given amnesty. Thats what I mean when I say it's their plan and I think that it may work in their favor (majority wise). Whether you like it or not millions of immigrants will remain despite the hard deportation push by Trump. It's an impossible task to get them all out. The majority will more than likely vote Democrat as the current state of the deportion situation is a causing a rift. Yes the Republicans won the 2024 election but will we win the war? As of right now it doesn't look like a shoe in. I think Trump is doing a great job and think we have a good chance. Im all for deportation, I was just saying I think the Democrats had a plan which initially failed but believe they knew they could use it against Republicans in the future in an attempt to take back control. At this moment I think they are winning. That doesn't necessarily mean I think they have won or will win. Some of you guys are insufferable.

even the most bleeding heart liberals i know admit that it's a problem that has to be fixed, they just don't like the methods when they're front and center.
I am a Christian and know what the Bible teaches about the sojourner and the foreigner. I adhere to it above my own opinions or moral code. I say this without an ounce of bitterness or hatred, I shed zero tears and have no angst over the greatest and kindest Abuela that has been cleaning houses diligently while avoiding moving towards citizenship being deported publicly.
If you have been here for 1, 20, or 50 years, you had time to get your stuff in order. I have been a net positive tax payer for 20+ years. Do you think an illegal or democrat would have an ounce of compassion if I didn't file a return for one year? They would not, and would be happy for me to be prosecuted under the fullest extent of the law.
the same way that a suburban mom doesn't want to see how their wagyu steak appeared on table, they want it fixed, neat and presentable, but the unfortunate pare hidden and out of sight.
