Here you go you lazy frick. You could have easily google ‘ the 25th amendment” , obviously you are afraid of truth and facts.

Source: Cornell law LINK

quote:

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Backstory
quote:

The 25th Amendment, proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation. The Watergate scandal of the 1970s saw the application of these procedures, first when Gerald Ford replaced Spiro Agnew as vice president, then when he replaced Richard Nixon as president,

The stupid fricks are doing the same thing they did when they did away with the filibuster. This shite won’t work on the next Republican president because they have reached the limits of shrill.

They did the same to Reagan and then to bush and then to bush and now to Trump, each time getting more and more deranged about it.

Your quoted information verifies what I wrote in my reply to you.

The 25th amendment has nothing to do with impeaching a President. It pertains solely to removing a President in the event he is unable to discharge his duties.

As your quote confirms, it was passed following the assassination of JFK when there was confusion as to how and when to transfer power of the Presidency in the event the President is incapacitated.

It has nothing to do with impeachment which is the conviction of a crime charged by the House of Representatives and found guilty by the U.S. Senate.

You really need to quit trying to appear knowledgeable. You're failing at it....

Your ability to shape the narrative is impressive. The dots you're aligning between the 25th ammendment, a group's opinion of a sitting president, and the grounds for impeaching said president.... legendary..

No, I knew what was in it, I just wanted you to do it. Thanks

So you can say with a straight face that this pertains to Trump. Seriously?

I want you to read it it over and over. Put your biases to the side for a second and honestly tell me you think Trump is unable to "discharge the powers and duties of his office".

And your backstory is even more revealing. Again put your biases to the side and tell me why they would propose such an Amendment after a President is assassinated. What, in your mind, does that have to do with impeaching a sitting President who you feel is "unfit" because he's an a-hole?

If you think this is setting some sort of precedent, you need to find a board you have a clue about its content.

The total desperation displayed by politards in damning the "other team" is both pathetic and highly entertaining all at the same time.

Your schtick is tiresome, occasionally you'll make an interesting/funny comment but for the most part it's complete mumbo jumbo BS. Carry on I guess.

Andrew Johnson was impeached for this reason.

And even more dangerous is the labelling of mentally ill. Don't agree with someone, just call him mentally ill. Don't like the way he acts, call him mentally ill.

Didn't Reagan get this treatment? I seem to remember the left saying he must have alzheimer's or dementia because he's so old. Maybe that was after he was already out of office though.

So where do you pretend to find Trump mentally unfit? You don't like his policies or tactics but that means nothing in bolstering your allusions of mental unfitness.

As I mentioned in another post, the fact you libs bring these things up actually show YOUR mental weakness in that you don't know how to handle losing. That's generally one of the first things normal children have to learn growing up. You should have never fallen prey to participation trophies growing up so I do feel bad that your segment of society failed you by handing those out but eventually you have to grow up and understand life doesn't work that way. I will do you a favor and let you know that Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, and The Tooth Fairy don't exist either in case that hasn't been pointed out to you yet .

That's what's so fun about this place. I post truth and the board sees it as mumbo jumbo because they've been brainwashed by fake news....fake news that they themselves have identified as fake news.

But, yeah, you're probably thinking that's my fault, too.
