I actually think you could be functionally retarded if you think the Iran situation has nothing to do with what we are seeing in the energy market today.
I get that you are a huge war guy and Trump guy but this is fricking stupid of you

I filtered through your qualifiers and ramblings to the part where you said:
Generally I would say yes.

I think a lot of manipulation has been taking place to keep that paper price down and Hormuz is a propaganda war. We will find out after the midterms. I wouldn't be surprised if we wake up one day to shortages or $150.00.
So pure speculation. Makes sense.

But, beyond fighting over those issues, an energy story is being told in: - Bond markets. - Crack spreads. - Reserves drawdowns. - Threatened and real diesel export restrictions. - Fertilizer supply and price. - Price at the pump. You guys will spin and say it's all lack of refineries and lil Z. But, things didn't start going sideways like this until the Iran conflict.
Which trump policy causes inexpensive oil to become expensive gas. Nothing you listed provided a single answer to that very simple question.

Get back to me when you dig up a policy or any facts at all! Have a great afternoon

I never said that. I simply asked you which Trump policy makes inexpensive oil expensive gas. I’ve asked four different posters at least a dozen times. None of you can provide a single policy. I’ve had enough. Have a great afternoon.

Such a stupid issue that appeals to useful idiots on both sides. What percentage of the population is affected by this? Versus those affected but the health of the economy?

Isn’t it a waste of time to narrow down the cause and effect of all the different variables and attempt correlate that to a specific policy?
When all we need to do is just look at the current price of gas…

Less than 1%

It’s a fool’s errand arguing with him. He latches on to one specific question, flies around like a sea gull shitting all over and then leaves like he won something.
The guy thinks all of this is strictly relying on today’s price of oil. And that Trump’s war didn’t get us into this mess. That’s the level of intellect we are dealing with

Aside from Americans caring about retail gasoline prices…
Americans care about retail grocery prices, which are more heavily impacted by diesel prices.

“YEAH BUT WHAT SPECIFIC POLICY OF TRUMPS INSTRUCTED GROCERY STORES TO RAISE PRICES?!?!”

The actual lived economy sucks for most people right now. The tariffs and Iran war have taken their toll on prices for most people. Let’s see what the voters have to say…

Liar. The attorney for the only victim to come forward has said on multiple occasions that Trump was the only person wiling to do anything to help. The amount of ignorance it takes to correct someone making a completely factual statement is astonishing.
Please show me your evidence that this actually took place.

Just use their own party's platform - that they want gas prices to be high/unaffordable, permanently, to force people to mass transit, EVs, etc.
