"former administration officials and Twitter employees" - not a good source of information given that we know those were the people who colluded to lie about covid and suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story

In your rush to post insults you didn't bother to read the article. If you had read the article you would see that it cites Matt Taibbi, who Elon Musk gave the "Twitter files" to. Matt confirmed that the Trump administration demanded that Twitter take down content and they complied.
Funny how you ignored the fact that Trump issued an EO, and planned to leverage $117 million in Government ad spend, to pressure tech companies into not fact checking him.

Looks like the "connected via" info is the hardest to get around.
