You will never get back the 3+ minutes you waste watching this ludicrous, asinine video about "microaggressions".

The video contains the standard "dumb, clueless White guy" trope, and lots of talk about the three kinds of microaggressions.

This Department of Housing and Urban Development DEI training video shows some of the DEI-related lessons for staff that the Trump administration is squashing.

Would this qualify as “macro-agression” instead of micro ?

I laughed at the “oi, govnah!”

The whole thing seemed like an old SNL skit.

Edit: I’m talking about the scenario clip, not the actual people in the meeting

I don't understand why every white person forced to endure these racist lectures doesn't immediately file hostile workplace complaints against the person leading the event as well as the person who insisted they attend. Flood the bastards with paperwork that becomes a permanent part of those fricker's personnel files.

"Whenever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy."

Y'all need to stick it out until the elevator scene- legit funny... bunch o hogs on an elevator with a thinner white dude, he's using his phone calculator to add up the weights and it shows him eyeing the max weight signage... he jets the moment a super fatty tries to get on.

They portray it as a microagression because he was judging people by how 'they looked'.. lmao

Sounds like a smart man. Could you imagine being stuck on an elevator with several fat women?

I’d rather get my teeth pulled out by needle nose pliers without Novocain.

WTF is an indigenous black person in America?

That guy in the elevator made exactly the right assumptions, don’t see an issue.

If I just go to New York, I’m going to get asked over and over, you’re not from here are you? So what? If my son and I walked the streets of an Asian city people would gawk and especially go crazy over my son since he is tall with blonde hair. So what?

He **was** smart... but somehow it's a microagression to put your own safety over other people's feefees.

Oh, and, in the elevator scene.. before super fatty boards, the elevator actually STRUGGLED over the excessive weight and DROPPED a few floors before climbing again.. I mean, a super legitimate reason to get the hell off it- regardless of how many cows were in it.

The elevator part was funnier than anything on SNL in 30 years.

Wow, I never realized the number of microaggressions I use on a daily basis. I am ashamed of my behavior and need to rethink my entire approach when dealing with others, especially when it comes to marginalized people. Thank you for opening my eyes to my inherent bigotry.

No thanks. A couple of years ago, after that Authoritarian Trump forced me to get a shot in order to keep my job at work, I then had to go through 8 hours of DEI training in order to "ground myself as a white male".

Oh wait, that was the Biden administration that forced our company to do that.

Fast forward to today, all DEI information has been removed from everything. We all now work together again without looking for things to divide us.

Our company spent at least $1 million (their time & our time) contracting some former Army, lesbian colonel to give us all of this 'training'.

I comes down to this. If a microaggression is 'my best friends black' then White people had better just not talk about race (and probably gender). But Black people... non-stop can talk about 'their lived experiences' and 'their truth'... got me ni66a.

This training is a microaggression.

So is speaking on speaker in public. Especially via FaceTime.
