Went to Walmart this morning to pick up the essentials. You know, Co-Cola, Pop-Tarts, and some State Fair Corn Dogs...

On the way in, a greeter stared me down and moved to intercept me with a mask in her hand. She told me that they had free masks if I'd like one. I politely told her, "no thanks," and kept walking.

On the way out, I was checking out at the self-checkout just feet away from that same lady, and I heard two biddies talking to her. They were irate that people weren't warning masks. The Walmart lady told them all they could do was ask, they couldn't force people to wear them. Loud and rude, for no reason.

I was carrying my stuff out, and the two biddies looked at me and proceeded to berate me for being selfish and putting others at risk. Luckily, without a mask on, they could see me smiling and laughing as I ignored them on the way out. The only thing I said was, "have a nice day."

I wouldn't have even breathed the same air as them. I posed no risk to them nor did they pose a risk to me. Why on why do people think this virus is just out there, lurking?

*************

On a similar note, my brother, a cancer survivor with weakened immune system, was wearing his mask at Publix, and had someone insult him for wearing it. "look at you with your massssk on..."

*************

What the hell is wrong with people???? Just live your damn lives.

Upvoted at first then read the end about your brother weather a mask and downvoted. Anyone wearing a mask should be beaten with a stick.

Nobody has said shite to me in Little Rock at a grocery store and I've never wore a mask

I usually go to the store in my LGBT shirt though

It reads

Liberty
Guns
Beer
Trump

Here is the shirt

Okay, what's a local store? Publix? Kroger?

There aren't always "local" options for most people. The only non-chain grocery type stores are International grocery stores and I don't know what a Pakistani Pop Tart has in it.

You seem like a cool dude. So my brother, who is in remission after battling Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins doesn't get to wear a mask? lol.

Those are options. I walk into Kroger all the time without issue.

So Walmart is your only option? Oh well.

Such a big man sticking it to the minimum wage walmart worker

If you were a real man you would focus your anger at our dipshit governor, not her.

Yeah, telling someone no thanks. Heinous.

Not wearing a mask is not a threat to your health or others health.

Yeah, he really gave it to that bitch with both barrels. She probably cried afterwards.

Saying no thanks is sticking it?

We have Kroger and Publix. We shop at all of them, and walk in with no masks with no issues. Hence why it was surprising.

It’s amazing that these women took the time to argue with the employee and then a customer over the issue.

TIL that ignoring someone is somehow less rude than acknowledging them and saying "no thanks" to their completely optional offer.

Blueberries = fruit
Corn dogs = vegetable and protein

Lol. It was for illustration and not an audit of the full cart.
