Same here. I usually walk with a quick swagger and stare at people as I am passing them until they break off eye contact. Sometimes when eyeing them I throw in a nod as a silent greeting gesture. Just have to strut a little and look confident. Throw them off before they engage

I do this unintentionally and you're right. Works swimmingly. When you strut around cocksure and lean into people like a homeless person about to give you their spiel, nobody bothers to you.

Was SO NICE going places in Pensacola, FL this past weekend, even the Beer Fest, and not a mask in sight.

This is the correct response.

I'm about fricking tired of politicians mandating these things and then leaving it to businesses to enforce their idiot mandates.

I own a business. I didn't sign up for law enforcement. You want a mask mandate? Send the cops to enforce it, then.

You guys are off-base or perhaps reading comprehension isn't a skill you possess. I literally walked past the lady and said thanks and didn't take a mask from the box she was offering. I didn't engage her or even slow my walk. I'm not going to confront some greeter over this. If they choose to require a mask for me to shop there, I won't shop there. If they "suggest" a mask, I will decline.

Fair enough. I agree, you did nothing wrong.

Chalk my over-reaction up to 9 months or so of people punishing our business because my idiot governor decided to mandate masks. A decision we had nothing to do with.

Go to a Racetrac store without a mask on and they will ask you to leave.

If you want a piece of that delicious Racetrac pizza, you put on a mask. If you can do without, don't.

Had a similar situation at a Mandeville Rouses. The deli lady was quite rude about it.

Manager at a bank asked me too the other day

My response “mask wearing in a bank tends to led to the silent alarm being pushed.”

She laughed and left me be.

I guess Covid can’t transmit if you make them laugh similar to a seat at a restaurant

I wasn’t being funny or going to comply either way.

It must be an employee or manager thing. Covington Racetracs dont care. Several employees arent even wearing them
