However, I think they need 60 votes to pass this and they have 94 senators voting. So, it will take more than just him.

Amash isn’t a Senator.

The House has strict limits on debate, no filibusters.

He's in the House....and at this stage in the game any single Senator or Rep can torpedo this thing until next week or however long it takes to get all Reps back to DC.

That depends. Just because you are employed doesn't mean you make a lot of money. Now you have kids home that you have to feed. Normally they eat 1 or maybe 2 meals at school. Over a couple of months that could be an extra $1k.

You can still go pickup those “free” meals from school. And there’s plenty other places offering free meals.

For instance, my kids private school is giving out free school lunches to anyone, which is odd to me considering it cost $3 a day for my kid to eat lunch at school. Why are they free now?

Yeah. What a bitch. The gall of this dude being fiscally responsible and not spending trillions on handouts with money that our children’s children will have to pay back. Sounds like a real clown.

God help anyone that signs up for the small business loan programs jumping the gun

They ram the entire fist of the federal government up your raw a-hole if you take that loan

I can't speak for a business taking one but we took one out due to the 2016 flood and have had literally no contact with them aside from sending us the monthly payment reminders.

Who is they?

The IRS is gigantic and even they don’t have the time and resources needed to do the things you’re suggesting.

What specifically can “they” do besides start a file?

For real. EVERYONE knows he refuses to disclose his court ordered financial records to the stripper he impregnated in Arkansas for child support, so we have no idea HOW much Burisma money he still has!

I'm still waiting for an answer on why taking out an SBA loan means you basically loan your company to the fed. If you make your payments, why would they bother with you?
