DC trying to jail Trump and not Ron says it all

Honest opinion, I voted for Trump 2x and will a 3x if he’s the nominee.
I think he’s brash, childish, and won’t stfu sometimes, but he does give a shite about the common American.
The sheer fact that DC is trying this hard to stop him… and not doing so to BDR says it all. They know Trump can and would make things very difficult for them going forward and they can’t have that.
I like Ron, and I would be happy to pull the lever for him if nominated as well. But the lack of volume of attacks against him tells me they know they can control him.
Either way, we all lose in this scenario. We have a country circling the drain and I don’t think one presidency can change the culture rot that has taken hold for the past 3 decades.

It's more likely that they know the attacks on Trump will help him win the primary (just look at this board), and that a bloodied Trump will prove easier to beat in the general because much of the middle, where elections are decided, will be weary of the drama always surrounding Trump.
