We don’t know… when you bring it to the discussion we will look at it.

This is precisely what I have been saying. You were one the one that started in days ago with SUPPOSEDLY rock solid data to support your claim that crime was way down the past 20-30 years. I see way too much evidence that crime statistics are being twisted in large D cities , and many many pieces of anecdotal evidence (not just one or two bodies…) to have any confidence in the “this is not really a problem” narrative.

Libs like cubbies keep claiming: "Crime is ALREADY down
I don't if cubbies is correct or not. I don't like Trump doing anything to prevent democrats from killing democrats.

the leftist argument that "crime is already down therefore further police action is no longer needed" (never mind its down from historic, nationwide riot-driven highs), is like saying your home is only half on fire and sending the firefighters home.

There were a lot more house fires in the 70s!!

Why on earth should I believe Eric Daugherty or Stephen Miller about anything? Seriously?
You wouldn't because you are an idiot who would rather have high crime rates than DJT get credit for fixing something.

We don't know if these claims are valid
Let's see... what is more likely? Crime is down in locales with historically high crime rates albeit with nothing substantial being implemented to actually lower said crime
OR
Crimes are not being prosecuted and crime numbers are being fudged to make things look better than they actually are?
Your mental gymnastics are impressive...

Not to mention it also begs the question...did they just recently start cooking the books?
Bowser has been the mayor since 2015. Did they just wait 9 years to start cooking the books and everything previously was accurate?

Good point. It was probably top 25 worst in the world and they cooked the books down to 50th worst. Incredible argument. Love it. Keep them coming.

Well let us consult the Obama Justice department on that:

Seems to have ONCE been on the leftist radar at least prior to 2015 in a major metropolitan city. But now the programming has gotten downloaded and it’s now a non-issue.

do find it somewhat comical that no one is skeptical at all about Miller's claims here. He could be right but I wouldn't take it as gospel.
Why would anyone be skeptical about the claims that liberals lie?

My point is if the books have always been cooked a downward trend is still a downward trend
It would just mean that in all years things are slightly worse than what the data said
