Ohhh that's an interesting development given yesterday's wave of blanket pardons. So they can be arrested and held in prison and the pardon doesn't go into effect until they've been convicted? That's the standard is it? Play ball.
Unfortunately, you guessed it…

Bureau of Prisons is now refusing to release any in pre-trial bc they haven’t been convicted and, therefore, can’t be pardoned. Freedom Caucus is working on this issue.
Some BoP dems are going to be looking for new jobs soon or maybe a transfer to the last place they want to live.

This sounds more like the State of Florida put a detainer on him with the Marshals because he has state charges pending. If so, I'm going to need more information.
My understanding as well. Trump pardoned fed charges. If this guy has state charges, DeSantis will need to step in. Is that the gist of it?

I don't know what DC law says on that, but some state laws require release in those situation in as little as 72 hours.
It doesn't matter what DC law says about it. Once he's pardoned, the State of Florida has however long their statute allows to either go get him or release him.

JUST IN: Democrats have put a HOLD on Pam Bondi’s nomination, delaying Bondi’s confirmation as Attorney General for at least 7 days, per Sen. Grassley
It must be because she absolutely HUMILIATED Adam Schiff.
Democrats are once again playing games to subvert the will of the American people, which was to give Trump and his appointees an overwhelming mandate.

15 waiting to walk out the doors. Those 7 remaining are being held on other charges. Likely related.
Pts: hoping to get the paperwork cleared up on those.

This is exactly what is happening. He will most likely be released to Marshals if I'm understanding what he's saying correctly. Hard to see determine for sure with just that post, but if we have a detainer on him he still has to be released to face his state charges

Possibly; however, we don't have enough information to know if that would be good or bad. He may or may not be guilty as sin of some horrible shite in Florida. We just don't have all the details and I'm sure some have been intentionally left out.

I can't find any Florida state charges for Jeremy Brown, all are federal and should be covered by his pardon.
Not sure what he meant by the "Marshals turned him around" in his Tweet to the public, but it doesn't appear he has any open state charges and never has.

Thought it was said his charges were related to the search warrant executed on his home after his J6 arrest.
Been watching since 2:00 which was their original deadline for this release. Still watching. They are being processed one by one.

I guarantee you this shite is one reasons the Demonrats are holding up Pam Bondi's AG nomination. This is not just vindictive its meant to be punitive.

There were calls for her to intervene before she was shelved.

The federal charges he's being held for are related to that search warrant. He didn't ever enter the capitol and wasn't charged for anything that happened that day, he's charged because he had multiple illegal weapons, grenades, and a document that requires a security clearance in his possession during that search warrant.
All federal charges he was tried for in federal court. Nothing open as far as state charges

If he is in jail in DC, I would be calling for Florida to extradite me. State charges shouldnt have you locked up in DC of all places.
Posted on 1/21/25 at 4:13 pm to RazorBroncs
Would explain why he isn’t being released today.

He does not have any Florida state charges. I repeat, all his charges are federal
Posted on 1/21/25 at 4:16 pm to RazorBroncs
So the search warrant was federal. What initiated the search warrant?

His attendance at J6 and being a member of the Oathkeepers, it looks like. Seems like a bogus reason to issue a search warrant if he was never even in the capitol and didn't do anything illegal that day, but it looks like that's what led to the warrant.
During that search they found all the aforementioned illegal weapons, ammo, grenades, and documents.
So he never wouldve been served a warrant had he not been in attendance at J6, which as far as I'm concerned makes the whole thing bogus and his charges should be pardoned just like the rest - even though they aren't technically for being at the capitol that day.
