Not sure about Florida, but in some states, charges don't actually get filed until after an arrest. If he hasn't been arrested on the charges, then they may not have been filed with the court yet. Active warrants won't necessarily be entered into a searchable public database.

Is this true? They were waiting on some in Georgia earlier but I haven’t checked on them in a while.

A a couple in Ft Worth last night, too.

I don't know how a Marshal would have that information, to be honest. Unless he has some source inside the prison system, but as a Marshal himself he wouldn't have access to that information offhand

That jail is slower releasing prisoners than the Orleans parish jail. And that's slow.

UPDATE:

Bureau of Prisons is now refusing to release any in pre-trial bc they haven’t been convicted and, therefore, can’t be pardoned. Freedom Caucus is working on this issue.

Well then, I guess that means all of Biden's pre-pardon's can't be recognized.

It may not even be entered into NCIC or a state equivalent. Also, if you're LE, I'd be careful about using NLETS or your state's equivalent for non job-related searches. That's a felony in Texas.

Seems like you would need an order from a judge/court to get released. With trumps pardon, why hasn't a judge ordered their release?

It doesn't matter what DC law says about it. Once he's pardoned, the State of Florida has however long their statute allows to either go get him or release him.

DC law will determine how long they can hold someone with warrants out in another state before releasing him. Each state has different time frame by which to hold someone waiting extradition. Florida law wouldn't be applicable there. If DC law says they can hold him 30 days waiting for Florida to extradite, they can hold him up to 30 days.

they typically aren't. They def aren't where I practice. We can't get any information until warrants have been served.

I’m going to have to step away from watching after almost 3 hours. Would love if others post any updates that come out while I’m gone.

Because the release only applies to the charges for which Trump pardoned them, not any state charges. Happens all the time with prison inmates that are in the country illegally. Once their state time is completed, INS puts an immigration hold on them and picks them up before they're released from the state prison and deports them.

Only if Florida law gives Florida law enforcement that authority. DC could theoretically let them out sooner, but they can't keep them longer than the Florida statute allows. If Florida law only gives their law enforcement 72 hours to get him or release him, DC can't arbitrarily keep him longer as Florida's hold will have already been released.
