I wonder if they will get $800,000 for each month they spent wrongfully in jail.

Let's not let it get lost in the shuffle - this is the DC Circuit. The Swamp cover artists themselves.

That even THEY would relent on this disgusting railroading of political prisoners says that they see the whole house of cards coming down and only now do they seek to right the wrongs that were committed.

Too late, bitches.

Was there a substantive ruling or was this just accompanying the DOJ's intention to dismiss?

The DOJ is moving to dismiss.

The Justice Department on Tuesday asked a federal appeals court to throw out the seditious conspiracy convictions of Proud Boys and Oath Keepers leaders who were sentenced to prison terms for leading members of the far-right extremist groups in attacking the U.S. Capitol to keep President Donald Trump in the White House over five years ago.

Trump commuted the prison sentences of several Proud Boys and Oath Keepers leaders last January in a sweeping act of clemency for all 1,500-plus defendants charged in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack.

The request by the Justice Department would go a step further and erase the convictions for the extremist group leaders, including Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes.

There isn't a substantive legal change otherwise, so this isn't anything like you're describing, which isn't shocking, considering how you're always wrong

Why are such a contrarian? You ruin every thread you reply to. When I see you post, I move along and never return to it. It's all so exhausting

This is unilateral from DOJ, not something the court is considering on any legal issue. Wouldn’t get too excited

People continue to be dishonest. What's your problem with correcting dishonesty?

By correcting dishonesty with facts?

How is that "ruing" a thread? You prefer the dishonest fantasy to reality?

The quest to be right all the time and actually up the board is how you get a half a million snarky assed posts!

The guy who called me a contrarian is a good example of that. OP is not.

I would like to read the amicus brief. It must have been pretty convincing.

Not really. The DOJ is moving to dismiss. There is no objection.

This ruling isn't a substantive ruling over the merits or a finding of a procedural flaw in the trial. There isn't that sort of validation like OP is trying to hard to dishonestly project onto the forum.

They vacated it dude, Trump pardoned them, the court vacated the sentences, I believe that's a bit different, that exonerates them, the DOJ probably got dirt on them and promised play ball or else

Did that happen, I don't know and don't care just that this shite is all collapsing
because it's all lies, and the world is waking up to the lefts shite, and that's a fact

I honestly could give a shite about the Proud Boys. It’s a joke of a group.
