Counting doesn't take months. If they think votes will be that slow coming in the mail, then mail-in voting is not an option.

More ballots turn up in Broward

Seven days after the election ended, and two days after the results were unofficially certified, Broward elections workers Monday said they had found 963 unaccounted-for ballots in a warehouse.
They were put in the wrong place, members of the Broward County Canvassing Board were told on Monday.
"How can you lose them? This is terrible," said Dania Beach candidate Chickie Brandimarte, whose close race won't be called until at least Tuesday.

SCOTUS needs to decide this issue PRIOR to the election.
OR:
If the election is stolen because of fraudulent mail in voting, I would expect that the Red States will join this one-sided Cultural Revolution and there will be a run on DEAD Democrat politicians and their Chattering Class butt-boys.

There are only like 5 started mostly blue states that have this as process right now. If those states don’t end up mattering we can see election results in November 3rd

They cannot do that. It is clearly stated what the dates are and it is a law. This is not some EO that can be ignored. It would take the SCOTUS to deem the law unconstitutional.
