I suspect what you saw in the video is representative of most Republican congressmen with a few, rare exceptions.
They're more at home under a Biden presidency and Democrat majorities while presenting as the defenders of conservatives than being on offense.
Give 'em a go on offense and they'll snap it and run the other way.

Crenshaw probably was elected by similar fraudulent practices that are being uncovered. He knows this and so he has to speak up to maintain his position in the club. POS.

His district is very heavy Republican voting, and those Republican voters by and large were more than happy to vote for him.

I'd guess it was 'lessor of two evils' choice. And it may well have been the right choice at the time.
The time to correct these revealed errors is in the next primary - have to cleanse our ranks to present the best guy we got every time.

This goes deep into the psyches of those who CHOOSE their 'truth'. "Behold, I will send them great delusion that they will believe a lie" (silly old Bible speak).
There is NO evidence that will persuade those in this category; it goes to Ego, which rules the psychology of them who are ruled. It is a painful step in the personal, evolutionary process of an individual. Live and learn as it were.
And the irony is - like those blinded people who believe and are triggered into contempt for those who reject the Vaccine thing - their choice (Authoritarian) indeed affects the welfare of responsible people who see the truth. Just a matter of WHICH 'truth' is beheld.
Fascinating drama. Will likely become painful, before the fruits and power of an education are realized.
