The dispute erupted Wednesday amid the fallout of the administration walking back its claims about Epstein by determining the convicted sex offender didn't have a celebrity "client list," and that he wasn't murdered in his New York City prison cell in 2019.
Bongino didn't come to work Friday, leading some insiders to believe he had quit. But administration officials say he's still on the job, even as the internal tension over the Epstein case continues.
A source close to Bongino, though, said "he ain't coming back."
Knowing Bongino he probably applying the Bongino rule over the weekend. We will know more Monday.

All good. In no way I take this stuff personally.

Bondi is a deep state vampire. Dan needs to come back and blow the whole top off these deep state fricks.

He could return to podcasting with a completely new perspective of the rot within our intelligence agencies.
But he would also know how they "play for keeps" - he may be under sanctions to not repeat any information he got from his tenure
- or go to jail forever
- or worse.
Leave of absence - if true - is worrisome to me - I have always had a lot of respect for Dan - he may have gotten into something far deeper and sicker than he thought possible - and now has no way out of it without risking his life, perhaps.
Certainly he couldn't go back to his open-ended, unregulated pod cast.
He is in a pickle. Hope he figures a way out of it.

What in the actual F.
Quit nominating people who can’t or don’t want to have tough jobs.

Bongino (and Patel) already came out and said JE committed suicide. We know Bondi is a mess. Bongino could also be frustrated with how/why Trump directed them to shut it all down.

This is the consequence of backing off of Gaetz, not of nominating Bongino.
The moment Graham backed her so strongly was the moment we should've been aware she wasn't the right pick for the job and anyone who watched her in FL prior to this knew she was a political animal who shouldn't be trusted without massive controls in place.
The likely reality here is that the guts of the Epstein case were hidden or destroyed before any of them even took office, but thats pure speculation and we will never know what the reality was of this situation.

I can buy that if he was unwilling to compromise his integrity and lie.
If he quit over principle then I take back my criticism.

Bondi isn't the one to be upset with.

Gaetz didn’t have the votes though.
Bondi is a fish out of water.
My point is when you dismiss viable candidates for sycophants, you are going to keep getting this caliber of leadership (none).

What they're saying: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche weighed in Friday morning on X, saying that he "worked closely with Patel and Bongino on the joint FBI and DOJ memo regarding the Epstein Files. All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo."
"The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo's composition and release is patently false."
If this is true are there any good guys in this? If that article is true everyone of them were complicit in the cover up or how it was handled.
Sounds like Bongino may be the fall guy because he is being blamed for the tape.

Because we were sold a lie via tribalism in order for them to get elected.
Now that they are, the entire facade has fallen away.
Yes, there was the whole “lock her up” thing with HRC, but everyone knew the odds of that were slim.
This just rips off the mask completely.
Yep, these people are all swamp.

Do you mean in the 18 months Trump had them in his first administration (raid in June 2019 to leaving office January 2021) or in the four years of Biden (to which Trump knows what was there, what is now not there and therefore destroyed by Biden) and is now keeping quiet about that destruction?
Or is it more likely it’s Mossad all along and we’re covering for our bestest little brother who just skullfricked our biggest Middle Eastern nemesis for us?

Here's the entire post you're attempting to respond to. You mistakenly missed a few pieces. Thanks for the opportunity to clarify and repost..
"Here's what's going on.
What DanBoingo was in the past, versus what he is now are two totally different things.
What he is now and has been for years is a celebrity talkshow host and podcaster/entertainer.
When this job came along, his agent told him to jump on it. Hang around just as long as you need to, then come back to show business and make some real money. You're podcast will be more popular than ever. You'll have speaking engagements out the arse and more book deals.
Don't fall for this DanBoingo "love of country" bullshite. He's a wealthy talk show host and entertainer, who's using this opportunity to further his future income stream.
Never meet your heros".
Oh and by the by. You get an upvote.

you are the one spouting off on how tough YOU would be - whereas I would bet you'd turn tail and whimper into the night should you ever be put into a situation where your livelihood or marriage or status would be harmed by information 'you were not supposed to know'
It is obvious to everyone with any sort of intellect that something is amiss in the 'epstein' files that would cause tremendous damage or unrest if made public.
Since I can't think of any situation that would case ME any immediate trouble, I could easily get on my high horse and call for "them" to man up and release the kraken and take whatever medicine come from it.
But I am waiting for men of known good character to do the BEST thing they can do with the smelly mess that they inherited.
For instance - you would probably be instantly gratified by release of sordid information that caused 'others' extreme pain, but when that release manifested itself into destroying international relationships - tanking the economy - and governmental 'hit men' eliminating 'security risks' perhaps even you would wonder if your momentary urge to scratch your puirient itch was worth it.
