The serious cases went way up, but that's probably just because it's finally an accurate number.

Yes. Tomorrow it will be interesting to see if the numbers go way up due to today being Sunday.

3 straight days the growth percentage has dropped.
Death growth percentage dropped.
Mortality rate still dropping on a 7 day streak. And yes I understand there is technically a lag.
If we can keep seeing the growth rates shrink that will be a good sign.
Increased testings. Increased treatment with hopeful helpful drugs. Keep better social practices going. Get warmer weather.
Let's go America.

My friend was hospitalized yesterday. He’s very weak. The hospital he’s at has several CV patients hospitalized there. They weren’t sure they wanted to start him on the malarial drugs. He’s already very, very sick.

He was a relatively healthy person prior to catching CV. No known heart or kidney issues. Non-smoker.

He meets international groups often. Was warned that a group he’d met had people with symptoms and then he went to the ER with fever and kidney pain 4 or 5 days after the meeting.

That's not accurate, he needs to start updating his chart each day for the previous day. The final total new cases for yesterday was 9,339 new cases and 117 new deaths.

A doctor on the radio was extrapolating Italy’s numbers to the US and said millions sick and 200,000 deaths. Any chance we get there?

Because the US hadn’t updated the number until yesterday. That number hasn’t been accurate, it remains to be seen if it will be actively updated going forward.
