As of this morning, there is probably about 5k deaths coming over the next week or so.
We will see another decline in the growth rate for confirmed cases per day.
We are doing more testing then ever before, but the confirmed daily growth rate continues to go down. Meaning, while we are testing more, fewer people per test are being confirmed to have Covid19.

Not the case for the states I was looking at...Iowa, Minnesota, IL, MI, WA
NY and NJ really frick up the stats on all of this for the entire country since they account for more than half of the cases and deaths.

If two weeks (April 16) is the peak for New York, and in turn the entire country, then it will take as long to get out of this from that point as it did to get to April 16th.
I’m guessing by May 15th we’ll have returned to some type of normalcy. By June 1 even better.

Damn I’m 50 and am going to the grocery and Walmart and what without a worry. I wash my hands and stay a distance from people but other than that doing nothing different.

This is my issue — they said we need to flatten the curve. Ok. I get it. They didn’t say that we needed to be on the other side of the curve.
I pray that this is like the electric company saying your power will be restored by 10 and so when it’s returned by 7 you’re like YES! As opposed to “it’ll be restored by 7” and it’s restored at 10.

So that healthdata.org model seems to have been updated. Before I could adjust the date to see increase, decreases and not it is stationary.
??? Anyone else? Maybe I’m doing it wrong or am looking at the wrong model??
