Can the y-axis on your logarithmic tables be adjusted to 1MM? Data starting to get cut off.
Again, great work man.

It looks like WoM updated their Sunday numbers, I've updated mine to mirror theirs.
I'm showing 24 new deaths today now.
Yesterday's deaths went up to 371.

I was looking at the spreadsheet. It looks like WoM updated yesterdays after I saw the 116 on the spreadsheet.

For example, Lee county (Auburn) has over 50 cases and I heard over half of those are at the only real hospital for that region. Supposedly had uhaul trucks at the vet school to get their ventilators to bring over to the hospital
But, you get how much easier it is to surge capacity for a place like that, right? National guard or reserve medical company can set up a triage, ER and treatment facility for your non-COVID19 stuff in about a day, thus freeing up your hospital to be 100% Wuhan for two weeks or so.
That's out of the scope for the Tri-State area (or a place like Southern California, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, etc.)

Yes I do, I’m just saying a lack of spike in population centers is great for numbers but doesn’t exclude smaller areas from getting walloped.

Everyone is going to take at least a little hit.
Hopefully, the collective sacrifice will have ultimately been worth it.

Not good numbers out of Florida. Over 500 new cases today already.
I noticed recoveries for the first time in a while. Recoveries are easily outpacing deaths now.
4574 recoveries to 2613 deaths

I know this doesn't make me Nostradamus or anything, but I predict this trend will never reverse.

It would take a pretty big surge of deaths to do that. And as we are looking at slowing trends in New York, I think you’re correct.

I wish I knew how these were counted. The head doc in Louisiana at the pressers said flat out that they weren't tracking those that were self quaratining/treating at home. ???

I would guess it’s hospital discharges of people who’ve recovered who are having to take tests to confirm that they’re ok to discharge.

Seems like a lot of the new cases and deaths are coming from NYC and not other large regions of the country. Since 9am yesterday morning there have been 112 deaths in NYC for Covid19.
Out of all of the hospitalized patients from Covid, in NYC, 90 percent had a health problem that already existed.
for the country as a whole, only 17 percent of all tests performed have been confirmed to have covid and those getting hospitalized are mostly people with other health issues.
The death rate for those that are healthy is incredibly low and seems like most recover. Those with heath issues are the vast majority that are being killed.
Survival of the fittest.

I’ve been following this website just for fun. A few days ago it was predicting Missouri’s peak in late April and that we’d need 800+ vents and that we would be above available hospital bed capacity.
Today, they are predicting Missouri’s peak in May with 240-odd vents needed. And under our available hospital and ICU bed capacity.

I just saw that site yesterday and noticed most of the "peaks" are April 10th-20th which explains why Trump agreed to extend the social distancing stuff till the end of April

New York is in and we're at ~8500. NJ, MI, PA, GA, MA are not yet.
New York definitely seems to be trending down but other places seem to be trending up for the time being.

it doesn't appear that the daily deaths listed in the chart matches the daily deaths graph...I am seeing it wrong?

I know of at least one in Louisiana who tested positive, was admitted and was discharged prior to a negative test.
