Good. Now we can gave Elon build a tunnel to Cuba from Key West.

They just need to have their 'Fall of the Berlin Wall' moment, and we'll be cool.

No. Stop believing everything you see on Twitter.

I just want to buy some of their old cars.
I was just thinking this . They probably have a few billion dollars worth of classics .
But they've been hacked up, chewing gum and baling wire for the past 20 years to keep 'em running. Maybe get some parts out of them, but I doubt there are many that would be worth much at all.

I wish this wouldn't come out until it is a done deal. So globalist enemies dont try to sabotage it...

Office Depot owns the former power company of Cuba
Lots of Canadian companies now own pieces or whole parts of companies, entities that were owned by Cubans before Fidel.

I do not know much about what corporations own. My ex would be taken to all of these areas only the elite could go to since she was a model there. She explained how they would run people out of the country and take over lands and businesses

they can shake the commies loose money will flow in for development.
Some American will make a killing going to Cuba and buying up the classic cars for like 10 grand apiece and reselling them for 10x that in the U.S.

I watched a recent series of YouTube vids about Cuba a few days ago posted by a Canadian who was primarily in Havana but he also ventured out into the countryside too.
The Cubans better do something quick because that shite hole nation is going to next level shite hole nation, the place is in crisis. The once beautiful buildings are crumbling, many of the streets and thoroughfares are littered with trash and rubbish. It's disgusting and sad.

Its bad enough to have power outages for 18 hours a day.
But 80% of people do not have access to running water due to power shortages to pumping stations.
To your point Bass, less than half the garbage trucks are running.
Refrigeration shortage is causing food contamination.
Now they have no tourism, their only real source of foreign exchange.
This thing is collapsing very quickly.

They've had no supply chain and no money for 60 years. They are highly motivated and inventive to keep things running. The few videos I've seen show cars that are well taken care of.
Certainly Mr Ford and his buddies never envisioned or intended this.

I was in Cuba in January. Vinales is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.

“One day Cuba will be free.”
In the same speech he laughed and said:
“Maybe I’ll end up the greatest developer in the country… or maybe the greatest president.”
Now look at what’s happening.
Cubans are rising up against the Communist government and taking to the streets.
And today Trump is widely seen as one of the best presidents in modern history.
How many times has Trump said something years before everyone else saw it?

I hope you're right about the cars, I've seen Jay Leno talk about the 'unrestored' vintage cars. It's is a cool thing in its way.
But what I fear is:
That with no supply chain and money, the 'inventive' methods are going to mess up the value. I could be wrong, I'll try to check out some videos, be nice to see some relatively clean cars from the 50's (My Mom and Dad went to Cuba before it closed).
