If you take the race out of it and just label them plaintiff and defendant, 10 times out of 10 people would lean towards the killer being 100% responsible.

I would argue that toddlers have more common sense than these folks. Young children know when they have done something wrong. These folks try to rationalize for their own purpose. They know it’s wrong but can’t get past their own biases, interests to admit it. None of these folks should be in a position of leadership.
