Not sure there is an epidemic at the moment, but we ate at the one in Lindale, TX, a couple of years ago. Both of us had a case of it that lasted a whole week. We had the meatloaf. Never again will we stop there or at any other CB. The new logo is terrible, and the inside looks like Chip and Joanna were there, complete with cutting boards from Ikea and those by now boring gray/white walls. It lost its charm. Could have left it alone and maybe decluttered a little if they had to do something.

Can anyone point to this so called whip that's supposed to be in the old logo? I've never noticed it.

That's an odd coincidence since I got a particularly aggressive case of salmonellosis after eating a meat loaf dinner from the Cracker Barrel on North Freeway in Houston, on Dec. 4, 2001, just one day before LSU's championship game vs Tennessee. Had dinner of meatloaf, greens and mac 'n cheese at 7 pm that Friday night; by 2 am Saturday morning was about to die from violent, protracted gastroenteritis, which remained acute for a couple of weeks and then went chronic for the better part of a year. Was a social leper for much of that time due to smelly symptoms.

To be fair if I was the ceo I would’ve never guessed this boring arse new logo would be labeled woke. I guess it don’t take much to get the anti woke mob up in arms lol

The current Presidential administration could announce tomorrow that a cure has been found for a major disease such as Parkinson's, cancer, or MS - and you and your ilk are so ate up with hate you all would try your best to spin it and downgrade it.
A reminder - you have 3.5 years left (hopefully much more) to deal with perceived threats to your safe space - I would suggest nutting it up and dealing with it. And I doubt you have any understanding of the term nutting it up.

Sometimes, people want to change things just to put their own personality on things. At CB, their goal is to just delete the personality altogether. Hence, the elimination of the "old-timer" from the signage. Heritage is what got Cracker Barrel this far, and now the CEO wants to just scrape it all away.

Have not followed this story at all. What's the fuss about? It can't be about a new logo. Not THAT new logo. I don't see an issue with it. There's gotta be more to the story....

Not sure either. We still stop at the ones in MS and AL when going to FL several times a year, and I still see rocking chairs in the front, find the breakfast(for me) and lunch(for the wife) is still good for the price, and I don't mind the interior change as I'm able to see my food better since they've lightened up the paint. My wife does complain that her roast beef isn't available anymore though. I think they've tried to keep their prices low which has resulted in probably having to cut back on some of the more expensive offerings they had previously.
