Buddy, who are you trying to convince here? See, im afraid there are too many who are already so far gone that they would never believe this. The mainstream news would never run a story like this, are you out of your mind?

Sure. Do you think growth rates would be slowing if we were packing basketball arenas and concert venus right now? I don't.

I don't know if I'd call it a trend, yet. But it is encouraging. And I do know that NOLA based hospitals were recently discharging more patients than they were taking in.

That’s exactly what Rush Limbaugh was talking about the other day. The doomsayers can never be wrong because all they have to do is say muh measures worked.

Would it matter if they were or were not? Doubtful.

I wouldn't call it a trend until I see today's and Wednesday's numbers. Too much of the testing data has been skewed up and down by laboratory and testing busts and booms.

It's from the same source that the media uses. We already know they will ignore it and find some other sensationalism story for the daily news.

When the media starts to move onto other stories to cover you know they have given into the reality that COVID19 has ran its course and we are on our way back to normal.

Right now there aren't any stories.

Some other good news is that pro baseball is working on get started with their season with certain precautions in place.

And the cases don't really matter

It's the death that matters

Once we start seeing a consistent downward trend in the death rate that will be a great sign

Maybe. Difficult to say it’s certain or with 95% probability without having a control group.

You don't have a damn clue what you are talking about. Death is a lagging indicator. That will drop when we are already back open for business as a country.

1. This is good news.
2. Be a little cautious, this could just be delayed lab reporting. It's happened before.
3. There is no link, but I am interpreting this as the number of new cases is less. Not the total number of cases, that will still be climbing. That still means there are new cases. Which means we aren't at the peak BUT the peak should be within site.

I can tell you that this is true for Louisiana as that is what I follow closely. However that was also true last Sunday and then they dumped a bunch of new cases from labs. So going to wait a day or two before I get too excited.
