They allegedly have horrible hospital infrastructure and I'm pretty sure Indians are big time smokers. I'm sure a lot of it is offset by the climate. I'm sure the cases and deaths are concentrated in colder areas in the North.

Certainly not this guy. I'm an old man... I caught it a few months ago. It kicked my arse good.

I'm a proponent re-opening, allowing the workforce to get back to work. Open up 100%. The vast majority of people want to. But I can vouch for those really at risk and that it will put you on your arse, and it's not something to fool around with. We can compromise for those at severe risk of this disease.

So what is new about corpses in the Ganges? The Ganges is for drinking, morning baths and cremations.

Yeesh! I was thinking it was a matter of time before the virus really took off there. India seems like the ideal place for a virulent disease to take hold.

Many thought Africa would be scorched earth by covid, but it looks like the malaria medicine they take, and Hydroxychloroquine being in it, plus ample vitamin D has kept it from being one of worst.

I have some Indian coworkers and they're talking about it like it's the worst they've seen. They said oxygen is in very low supply and it's expensive, so likely most people don't have access to it.
