I have not followed country music since the 80's. Is this guy a fig? We have come a long way from, "I'd love to spit some Beech-Nut in that dude's eyes / Then shoot him with my old .45"

He was good until he wasn’t and folks started discovering that he is a closet lefty and not a nice guy toward women. He fooled a lot of people early on but time revealed him to be who he is…..

His dad is a military lifer and he was on his way to doing the same until a song hit on YouTube. It's not surprising that he's got some democrat tendencies. Most folks who work for government, especially in admin roles, lean left.
ETA: his mom had drinking issues and died when he was 20. His parents divorced when he was 12.
Also, a large contingent of his fans, aged 16-25, absolutely agree with his stance. They aren't friends of Israel. This will only hurt his cash flow when the tiny hats at Ticketmaster and streaming services start screwing with him.

She was country? Wow, did not know that. I have never listened to a single Taylor Swift song. Katy Perry once, but only because her tits distracted me.
