Corona virus asymptotic weekend

The only rational thing to do right now is open our borders, take in as many refugees as possible from a bunch of nations with poor hygiene and sanitation. We should also provide them with tax payer funded universal income, healthcare and college.

I've found zero hedge is giving the most realistic news.

Amazing how it's spreading in the rest of the world yet China has managed to see the new cases drop from thousands to hundreds in just a few weeks, they are saying they may not have a single new case in Beijing soon, simply amazing.

In the real world, they will send the people back to work, they have no choic, their economy is imploding, and corporate debt is a ticking time bomb starving for cash flow. Then the virus will truly become pandemic in the country...if it's not already.

I also see the Chinese govt is admitting that the virus did originate at the market...but a primary carrier brought it there, no doubt from the bio lab down the street...but we already knew that didn't we.

Hugh Hewitt talks about it every day and updates on the latest news and newest numbers daily from around the world. a good source to keep you informed.

I realize that Eli , what I did not realize is that you are WHO itself, because last I heard it was not a pandemic, but if things continue in China, the virus will continue to be exported and become a pandemic.

Japanese news reports that it will be contained by late April. I believe their news over the US media...or China.

Does it cure corona or something? Seems silly

i'm personally really curious to see how this plays out. supply chains have been disrupted, the only question is how badly? it's going to take a couple of months for the impact to become apparent, and i don't think we're going to get a ton of advance warning. i could see a potential situation where the whole nation goes "2 inches of snow? buy all the bread and milk!!!!" mode on a whoooooole bunch of consumer goods once we reach a certain media inflection point.

time will tell.
